The Gospel of John Chapter 6 Verses 30 thru 38

30 So they said to him, “What sign can you do, that we may see and believe in you? What can you do? 31 Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” 32 So Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 So they said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.” 35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst. 36 But I told you that although you have seen [me], you do not believe. 37 Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me, 38 because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.

In John 6:30-38, we witness a profound dialogue between Jesus and the crowds who sought Him after the miracle of the loaves and fishes. They ask for a sign, looking for physical proof of His divine authority, reminiscent of the manna their ancestors received in the wilderness. Jesus responds not by pointing to another miracle but by revealing the deeper truth of His identity. He proclaims, “I am the bread of life.” This declaration is laden with meaning, inviting us to recognize that true nourishment comes not from earthly food, but from the very source of life Himself.

When Jesus speaks of His flesh as true food and His blood as true drink, He invites us into a transformative relationship with Him. This isn’t a mere metaphor; it encapsulates the mystery of the Eucharist, where believers can participate in His True Presence—His Body, His Blood, His Soul, and His Divinity. By partaking in this sacrament, we unite ourselves with Christ in a profound way that satisfies our spiritual hunger and fills the void that the world cannot.

In a world often filled with dissatisfaction and spiritual emptiness, the promise of never hungering again takes on a profound urgency. Accepting the True Presence means embracing the fullness of what Jesus offers—sustenance for our souls, strength in our weakness, and hope in despair. Through the Eucharist, we receive not only spiritual nourishment but also the assurance of Christ’s companionship in our journey.

As we reflect on these verses, let us remember the eternal truth that in Him, we will never hunger. May we approach the altar with hearts open to receive His life-giving presence, fortified to follow Him in faith and love. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Day seven CONCLAVE. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. Kairos prison ministry day four. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**I Will Not Reject Anyone**

In searching faces, questions rise,

“What sign will You give, O wise and true?”

Yet manna's gift from ancient skies,

Is but a shadow of the food received from You.

“You seek for bread that perishes,

While I, the Bread of Life, do offer here,

A feast that satisfies, with eternal bliss,

In every crumb, find hope, in every tear.”

“My flesh, as true food, I give to you,

My blood, the drink that quenches every thirst,

Partake of Me, let your spirit completely renew,

In this divine meal, your hunger reversed.”

No more shall longing fill your heart with pain,

In sharing this life, in every soul's embrace,

For those who come, My love shall entertain,

A promise written in the deepest divine grace.

Believe, yet doubt, for such is our plight,

But those who trust, in faith, shall find their rest,

For I descend, the world’s eternal Light,

To gather all, in love, who are truly blessed.

So come, partake, let not your heart delay,

For in My presence, every longing fades,

Together in the feast, let's find our way

As souls unite in Love, that never evades. Amen.
