The Third Letter of John Chapter One V- Four and Eight
4 Nothing gives me greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. 5 Beloved, you are faithful in all you do for the brothers, especially for strangers; 6 they have testified to your love before the church. Please help them in a way worthy of God to continue their journey. 7 For they have set out for the sake of the Name and are accepting nothing from the pagans.8 Therefore, we ought to support such persons, so that we may be co-workers in the truth.
In 3 John 1:4-8, the Apostle John expresses profound joy in hearing about the faithfulness and love of believers who walk in truth. He writes, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” This passage reminds us that serving our Lord is fundamentally about testifying to Jesus in every aspect of our lives. Our actions, arguments, and attitudes should reflect the transformative power of the Gospel, making Christ visible to everyone we encounter.
To walk in truth means to embody the principles of our faith, demonstrating love, kindness, and integrity. As we do so, we invite others to witness the truth of Salvation—the only pathway to eternal life. It is through our belief in Christ and our commitment to living out His teachings that we shine as beacons of hope in a world desperate for meaning. Every interaction becomes an opportunity to share the love of Jesus, revealing the reality of His grace and mercy to those around us.
John encourages believers to support those who are spreading the Gospel, affirming that such acts of service are vital in the kingdom of God. When we assist others in their ministry, we not only participate in the work of the Lord but also testify to the truth that every soul is valuable and worthy of His love. This is how we act towards anyone we meet—recognizing that each person is an opportunity to demonstrate the hope of Christ.
In essence, our lives should echo the message of Salvation, leading others to discover that true life, abundant and eternal, is found only in Jesus. Let us be diligent in our testimony, walking in truth and love, as we serve our Lord together. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Be Co-Workers in the Truth**
In the heart of John, a joy takes flight,
To hear that love shines ever bright,
No greater gift, no sweeter song,
Knowing we’re in the truth, where we belong.
With every step, in faith we tread,
Testifying of Him, our Savior, our Bread,
In actions of kindness, in words that uplift,
We share the sweet message, the ultimate gift.
For in our service, His light we bear,
To those we meet, to show that we care,
Each soul a treasure, each heart a chance,
To share the Salvation that calls us to dance.
Support one another, as we run the race,
In love and in truth, we find our grace,
For walking in faith, hand in hand,
Is the way to show love, God’s perfect plan.
Eternal life beckons, a promise so true,
In Christ, we find hope, and life made anew,
So let our lives echo, His grace ever near,
In every connection, let His eternal love steer.
In the joy of the journey, may we ever strive,
To walk in the truth, to truly be alive,
For this is our calling, our hearts intertwined,
To testify of Jesus, His Eternal Life, we find. Amen.
