The Gospel of Luke Chapter 13 V- 23 and 30
23 Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few people be saved?” He answered them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough. 25 After the master of the house has arisen and locked the door, then will you stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ He will say to you in reply, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ 26 And you will say, ‘We ate and drank in your company and you taught in our streets.’ 27 Then he will say to you, ‘I do not know where [you] are from. Depart from me, all you evildoers!’ 28 And there will be wailing and grinding of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God and you yourselves cast out. 29 And people will come from the east and the west and from the north and the south and will recline at table in the kingdom of God. 30 For behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”
In the quiet moments of reflection, as we delve into Luke 13:23-30, we are beckoned to consider the profound mystery of the Narrow Gate—an entrance not just to Heaven, but to a life steeped in divine purpose and compassion. Jesus speaks of this gate, a threshold that requires intention, humility, and a heart attuned to the whispers of grace. As you engage with my daily Scripture study through Universal Utterings, each verse becomes a steppingstone, guiding your spirit to embrace the sacred call of service.
To serve the least among us is to mirror Christ’s own humility. In every act of kindness, in every moment of reaching out to those in need, you are not merely living out a doctrine; you are participating in the divine dance of love that opens the Narrow Gate wider with each selfless act. It is the rhythm of piety intertwined with genuine compassion that prepares the soul, transforming the mundane into the miraculous.
As you succumb to Christ’s teachings, allow them to infuse your being, leading you to a life where every word, every action, becomes an echo of His love. It is through this devotion that you cultivate a heart sensitive to the plight of others, a heart that resonates with the very essence of what it means to walk the narrow path. Here, in this sacred journey, we find that the gate is not a barrier, but a bridge—a connection to the eternal embrace of the Divine.
So, let your daily study and devout living be the lanterns lighting your way. Embrace the call to love fiercely, serve humbly, and walk confidently toward the Narrow Gate, where the promise of eternal communion awaits. In this, you will not only enter but thrive in the boundless joy of Heaven for all Eternity as well as here on earth. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20
10-29-2024 Luke 13 V-2330
**Strive to Enter the Narrow Gate**
In the twilight of a gentle day,
A question lingers, soft and gray,
“Lord, are there few who find their way,
Through the Narrow Gate, to where You stay?”
The Master speaks with wisdom bright,
“Strive to enter, embrace the light,
For many wander, lost in the night,
But few will kneel to seek what’s right.”
Oh, the gate, so narrow, so steep,
A path where shadows and sorrows creep,
Yet those who enter, their hearts will leap,
In the embrace of love, their souls to keep.
“Many will knock, but not all will find,
The door of mercy, where hearts are aligned,
For those who served, the least and the blind,
Shall dine with the faithful, in communion entwined.”
So let us gather, in spirit and grace,
To walk this journey, to seek His face,
In every act of love, we find our place,
In the tapestry of Heaven, a sacred space.
With each humble gesture, each kindness shown,
We tread the path where true love is sown,
In the narrowness, our hearts have grown,
For in serving others, His light is known.
So strive, dear soul, through trials and strife,
To live in His service, to breathe in His life,
And as you journey, through joy and through pain,
You’ll find the Narrow Gate, where peace will reign.
In the banquet of Heaven, we’ll gather as one,
With those who have walked, the victory won,
In the warmth of His presence, our hearts will run,
Forever united, with the Father, the Spirit and The Son. Amen.
