The Letter to the Romans Chapter 13 Verse 8 thru 10
8 Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; you shall not kill; you shall not steal; you shall not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this saying, [namely] “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no evil to the neighbor; hence, love is the fulfillment of the law.
Romans 13:8-10 offers profound insight into the nature of love and its relation to the fulfillment of the law: "Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery; you shall not murder; you shall not steal; you shall not covet,' and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."
In a world increasingly influenced by ideologies that promote division, selfishness, and moral decay, these verses remind us of the fundamental calling to love. It is disheartening to witness how some movements, especially those on the left, have spiraled into actions that undermine community, family, and responsibility. Whether through the promotion of abortive choices, the undermining of traditional values, or the embrace of a limited view of humanity, the focus shifts away from love toward a cultural narrative steeped in individualism and disconnection.
However, in the face of this pervasive wickedness, we are called to remember the redemptive love of Christ. Jesus, God's only begotten Son, exemplified unconditional love, showing us the transformative power that can overcome even the most entrenched evil. His life, death, and resurrection reveal that true fulfillment of God's commandments hinges on love—not just as an abstract concept, but as an active, self-giving force.
In a world rife with disintegration, love stands as a counterbalance to chaos. It is through Christ that we gain the strength to resist the cultural tides that seek to pull us into darkness. By embodying love, we not only fulfill the law but also become beacons of hope amidst despair. As followers of Christ, we are called to rise above worldly influences and manifest His love, knowing that it is ultimately the only way to triumph over the wickedness that grips so many hearts. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Love Your Neighbor As Yourself**
In echoes of the ancient scrolls,
A call to love, our hearts behold,
"Owe no one, save for love's embrace,"
In gentle acts, God's law we trace.
Adultery and theft take flight,
In love, we find our guiding light,
To covet not, but cherish deep,
With every soul, our bond we keep.
No wrongs are born where love resides,
Across the chasm, unity guides,
In selfless giving, we fulfill,
The heart of laws, the Father's will.
So let us rise, with hearts aflame,
Through Christ our Savior, praise His name,
For in His love, all darkness sways,
And guides us through our earthly ways. Amen.
