The Song of Songs Chapter 3 Verse One thru Four

1 On my bed at night I sought him whom my soul loves— I sought him but I did not find him. 2 “Let me rise then and go about the city, through the streets and squares; Let me seek him whom my soul loves.” I sought him but I did not find him. 3 The watchmen found me, as they made their rounds in the city: “Him whom my soul loves—have you seen him?” 4 Hardly had I left them when I found him whom my soul loves.

The Song of Songs, an exquisite piece of biblical poetry attributed to Solomon, captures the profound emotions of love and desire. In Chapter 3, verses 1-4, the text portrays a passionate search for the beloved, highlighting themes of longing, beauty, and the deep connection between lovers. These verses illustrate a quest for intimacy, where the beloved is ultimately found, symbolizing fulfillment and the beauty of love.

Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**I Found Him Whom My Soul Loves**

In the night, where shadows weave,

A yearning heart seeks love's reprieve,

Through city streets, she wanders wide,

In dreams of passion, her soul confides.

“Have you seen him?” whispers soft,

With every beat, her spirit aloft,

A treasure lost, yet deeply sought,

In realms of love, her heart is caught.

The watchmen pause, their lanterns low,

“Why do you seek? Where does he go?”

With every step, the moments swell,

As hope ignites within her spell.

At last, she finds him, beneath the moon,

In fragrant gardens where lovers swoon,

“Hold me close,” the night whispers sweet,

In your embrace, my heart's retreat.

A journey etched in love's fair glow,

In holy verse, their bond will grow,

For in the stillness, two souls entwine,

A sacred dance, their love divine. Amen.
