The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 11 V- 25 and 27
25 At that time Jesus said in reply, “I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. 26 Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. 27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.
Matthew 11:25-27 beautifully encapsulates the profound relationship between God and His followers. In this passage, Jesus praises the Father for revealing truths to the humble and childlike, while hiding them from the wise and learned. This scripture resonates deeply with me, particularly as I reflect on my calling to become a “Teacher of God’s Children.”
In 2007, I received a divine message through an angel that ignited my journey towards becoming a Catholic school teacher. It was a transformative moment, filled with a sense of purpose and divine love. I felt the gentle whisper of God guiding me, assuring me that through teaching, I would not only impart knowledge but also nurture faith in the hearts of young learners. The calling was overwhelming yet comforting, filling me with joy and a profound sense of surrender to the Gospel.
This scripture speaks to the essence of my vocation. The fact that God chooses to reveal Himself to the humble mirrors my own journey as I approached teaching with an open heart and a desire to serve. I have often seen my students embody the innocence and curiosity that Jesus highlights in this passage. Each day in the classroom is a reminder of the beautiful truth that faith and understanding dwell not merely in intellect but in the openness of the heart.
Through my work, I strive to reflect the love of Christ, guiding children not only in academic pursuits but also in their spiritual growth. Matthew 11:25-27 has shaped my understanding of teaching as a sacred calling—one that requires humility, a childlike spirit, and an unwavering commitment to share God’s love. It is a privilege to walk alongside these young souls as they embark on their own journeys of faith. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Revealed to the Childlike**
In whispers soft, the heavens sing,
To those who seek, the truth they bring.
The wise may ponder, their minds so vast,
Yet in the humble, grace is cast.
O Father, thank You for the light,
Revealed to hearts, both pure and bright.
The little ones, with eyes aglow,
Embrace the love that we yearn to know.
For in their laughter, joy takes flight,
In every question, the spark of light.
With open hands and spirits free,
They grasp the wonders that truly must be.
Come, all who labor, burdened and worn,
Find rest in Him, the meek is born.
For in surrender, our souls take flight,
In the gentle yoke, we find our might.
O Teacher of children, guide us each day,
In Your embrace, show us the way.
Through lessons woven with love and grace,
We find our purpose, our sacred place.
In every heart that seeks to learn,
A flame of faith begins to burn.
With childlike trust, we humbly stand,
Embracing the gift of Your guiding hand.
So let us cherish this holy call,
To serve, to nurture, to uplift all.
In the spirit of love, let our voices blend,
As teachers of children, with hearts to mend. Amen.
