The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 18 V- 12 through 14
12 What is your opinion? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills and go in search of the stray? 13 And if he finds it, amen, I say to you, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not stray. 14 In just the same way, it is not the will of your heavenly Father that one of these little ones be lost.
Matthew 18:12-14 speaks profoundly to the heart of what it means to be a teacher and a guardian of the vulnerable. In these verses, Jesus poses a emotional question: "What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?" This scripture resonates deeply with me, highlighting the beauty and responsibility of nurturing the little ones in our care.
As a teacher, I often reflect on the significance of each child's journey. Each student carries a unique story, and the notion that every individual matters is a powerful reminder of our calling. Jesus' unwavering commitment to seek out the lost sheep exemplifies the grace and compassion we should extend to those who may feel overlooked or forgotten. It inspires me to create an environment where all students feel valued and celebrated, recognizing that their struggles and triumphs are integral to their growth.
In the realm of education, we have the opportunity to embody this message. By ensuring that no child is left behind, we foster a community where grace and compassion meet, allowing every individual to experience the truth of salvation. This scripture reminds me that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge; it is about cultivating hearts and minds, encouraging each student to find their voice and purpose.
Ultimately, Matthew 18:12-14 is a call to action. It urges us to embrace our roles as mentors and caretakers, cherishing each young soul as a precious gift. As we strive to guide them with love, we echo the heart of Christ, celebrating the beauty of every life transformed by grace. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Not the Will of the Father for Little Ones to be Lost**
In fields of green, where shadows play,
A shepherd walks, both night and day,
With a hundred sheep, secure and sound,
But one has strayed, no longer found.
Oh, tender heart, with love so deep,
He leaves the flock, his vigil keeps,
Through valleys low and mountains high,
He seeks the lost, he hears their cry.
For every soul, a treasure rare,
No one is lost beyond repair,
With gentle hands and guiding light,
He brings the wayward back to sight.
In this pursuit, we find our call,
To lift the weak, to cherish all,
For every child, a sacred trust,
To nurture faith, to guide, to love.
So let us heed this call divine,
To seek the lost, to love, to shine,
For every little one we find,
Is a glimpse of heaven, intertwined.
In grace and compassion, we shall meet,
Where truth and mercy, joyfully greet,
As shepherds of hope, we stand together,
In love's embrace, now and forever. Amen.
