The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 10 Verse 26 thru 33

26 “Therefore do not be afraid of them. Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. 27 What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light; what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. 28 And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. 30 Even all the hairs of your head are counted. 31 So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. 32 Everyone who acknowledges me before others I will acknowledge before my heavenly Father. 33 But whoever denies me before others, I will deny before my heavenly Father.

In Matthew 10:26-33, Jesus speaks to His disciples about the implications of discipleship and the importance of boldly acknowledging Him. He encourages them not to fear those who may threaten or persecute them because the truth will ultimately be revealed. "What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs." This passage underscores the necessity of proclaiming one’s faith openly, regardless of the potential consequences.

When we surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, accepting Him as our Savior, we embark on a profound transformation. This commitment is not merely a personal decision; it becomes an integral part of our identity. As we embrace this new life, we find ourselves compelled to share our faith, knowing the eternal ramifications of denying Him. Jesus warns us that if we deny Him before others, He will deny us before His Heavenly Father. This sobering truth reminds us of the weight of our choices and the call to unwavering faithfulness.

In surrendering to God’s will, we gain a deep understanding of His love and grace, making it nearly impossible to turn away or disown Him. We become intimately aware of what it means to be redeemed, valued, and called into His purpose. The fear of earthly judgment pales in comparison to the reverence we hold for the Sovereign God. Thus, those who truly know Jesus find joy and strength in declaring Him boldly, for they understand that He has already declared them as His own. May we always remember the great privilege and responsibility that comes with our faith. In Him, we have all that we need, and in Him, we can stand unashamed. Amen.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Whoever Denies Me Before Others**

In shadows deep where secrets lie,

Do not fear what men might try,

For all that’s whispered, cruel or bold,

Will be unveiled as truth is retold.

The sparrows flutter, two for a dime,

Yet in the heavens, they’ve worth sublime,

Not one falls silent to the ground,

Without His notice, love profound.

So fear not, beloved, for you are blessed,

Among the billions, you stand confessed,

Your hairs counted, each one known,

In this vast world, you’re never alone.

Yet, a warning echoes through the ages,

For those who hide behind false stages—

Deny Me not, in fear or shame,

For I will speak your sacred name.

Before the Father, I will stand tall,

A shield for the humble, a fortress for all.

But if you turn your back in fright,

Know that my light will be out of sight.

So stand with courage, let your heart soar,

For you are worth more than sparrows and more.

In freedom's embrace, let your soul dance,

For love is the answer, and hope is our chance. Amen.
