The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 10 Verse 26 thru 33

26 “Therefore do not be afraid of them. Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. 27 What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light; what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. 28 And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. 30 Even all the hairs of your head are counted. 31 So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. 32 Everyone who acknowledges me before others I will acknowledge before my heavenly Father. 33 But whoever denies me before others, I will deny before my heavenly Father.

Matthew 10:26-33 emphasizes the importance of standing firm in one's faith and the consequences of denial. In this passage, Jesus instructs His disciples not to fear those who threaten them, for the truth will eventually be revealed. He reminds them that while they may face persecution, nothing hidden will remain concealed, and the ultimate judgment belongs to God.

When we acknowledge Christ openly and without shame, we are assured of His acceptance before the Father. However, the stark warning presented in verses 32-33 is clear: those who deny Him will find that their relationship with God is estranged. This denial can manifest in many forms—through an unwillingness to proclaim His name, embed our values in daily life, or compromise our beliefs to fit societal norms.

The implication is profound: without grace, our lives become burdensome, as we navigate the challenges of existence without divine support. It is in these moments of denial or fear that we may find ourselves burdened by anxiety, struggle, and a sense of disconnection from our purpose. The world can present difficulties that feel insurmountable, but it is crucial to remember that in Christ, we can lay those burdens down.

Jesus assures us that His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30). When we choose to identify with Him, trust in His grace, and proclaim our faith boldly, we are equipped to face life’s trials with confidence and hope. May we be encouraged to stand firm, share the love of Christ, and remember that He will uphold us when we remain true to Him. Let us not fear the consequences of the world but embrace the eternal promise that comes from acknowledging our Savior. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. Novena Day Three for James employment. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

06-21-2026 Matthew 10 v2633

** Deny Me I Will Deny You Before God **

In quiet shadows, truth unfolds,

As whispered secrets, God beholds,

No darkness hides, no fear can stow,

The light of love, it brightly glows.

“Fear not,” He says, “for hearts might shake,

What’s hidden now, the light shall break,

The world may scorn, but stand you tall,

For truth will ring, and justice call.

The sparrow falls, yet none are lost,

In Heaven’s realm, we measure cost,

So, trust in me, I’ve called your name,

Your worth to Me, no earthly fame.

Confess me here, in front of all,

For in the heavens, hear the call,

My Father waits, His heart will see,

The bold and faithful, come to Me.

So take your stand, let courage rise,

In whispered fears, disburse the lies,

For in your heart, my Spirit breathes,

With every step, My love believes.

Hold fast to faith, for I am near,

In truth and grace, dissolve all fear,

For those who seek, and those who find,

Shall walk in light and leave sin behind.

In every trial, you’re not alone,

In every heart, my love is sown,

Embrace the path, where courage flows,

For in the light, my love bestows. Amen.
