The Gospel of Luke Chapter 12 Verse 35 thru 38

35 “Gird your loins and light your lamps 36 and be like servants who await their master’s return from a wedding, ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks. 37 Blessed are those servants whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival. Amen, I say to you, he will gird himself, have them recline at table, and proceed to wait on them. 38 And should he come in the second or third watch and find them prepared in this way, blessed are those servants.”

In Luke 12:35-38, Jesus presents an emotional reminder about the vigilance and readiness we must maintain as His followers. He urges us to be like servants awaiting their master’s return, dressed for action with lamps burning brightly. This invitation calls us not just to a state of watchfulness, but to an active preparation in our daily lives.

To be truly ready requires a commitment to practice, pray, and proclaim the joy of Salvation. Practicing our faith means incorporating the teachings of Christ into our everyday actions. It’s through such consistent practice that we become the witnesses He intends us to be—radiating His love in a world desperate for hope.

Prayer is our lifeline to God, a means through which we commune with our Creator, seek guidance, and align our hearts with His will. Regular prayer shapes our character, fortifies our spirits, and strengthens our resolve to remain steadfast in faith. It is in the quiet moments of prayer that we find the peace and purpose to shine as lights amidst the darkness.

Moreover, proclaiming the joy of Salvation is not just an optional aspect of our faith; it is essential. By sharing our personal experiences of God's grace and mercy, we spread the light of Christ to others. Our joy in Salvation can become a source of hope for those who are lost and searching for meaning.

Ultimately, living unceasingly in Christ means surrendering our lives daily to His lordship. As we cultivate readiness through practice, prayer, and proclamation, we position ourselves to receive His blessings and fulfill His mission. Let us remain alert and engaged, ever prepared for the Master’s return, joyfully embracing the journey of faith. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

10-21-2025 Luke 12 v3538

**Blessed Are Those Servants**

In readiness, let hearts awaken,

With lamps alight, our hopes unshaken,

Like servants waiting for their lord,

Prepared to greet Him, joy restored.

Gird your loins, stay watchful still,

In faith and love, fulfill His will,

For in the night, the hour unknown,

The master's voice will call us home.

Blessed are those who watch and wait,

With steadfast hearts, we celebrate,

For when He comes, His promise clear,

The faithful servants He'll draw near.

So let us strive, with courage bold,

In every moment, truth behold,

For in the light of dawn's new day,

Eternity awaits, come what may. Amen.
