The Gospel of John Chapter 15 V- 11 and 14

11 “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. 12 This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. 13 No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.”

In John 15:11-14, Jesus invites us into a profound relationship characterized by joy, love, and friendship. He says, "These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full." Here, we discover that true joy is not merely an emotion but a state of being found in Christ. When we abide in Him and embrace His teachings, we experience a completeness that the world cannot offer.

Living in complete surrender to Christ means yielding our will to His divine purpose. This surrender is not a loss of identity; rather, it is a transformation that leads us to the fullest expression of ourselves. In letting go of our burdens and desires, we allow Christ to fill us with His joy and peace. We become vessels of His love, reflecting His character in our daily lives.

Moreover, in verse 14, Jesus calls us His friends, saying, "You are my friends if you do what I command you." This friendship is not superficial; it is a deep connection that completes us to the very depths of our souls. In Christ, we find a confidant who knows us intimately and loves us unconditionally. This relationship empowers us to live out our purpose with confidence and assurance.

As we embrace this friendship with Christ, we discover that we are never alone. He walks with us, guides us, and fills our hearts with joy that transcends circumstances. In surrendering to His will, we find fulfillment, purpose, and a companionship that enriches our lives. Let us celebrate the joy of being complete in Christ, living fully in His love, and sharing that joy with others. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

11-20-2024 John 15 v1114

**Love One Another as I Love You**

In whispers soft, He speaks to me,

His words a balm, my heart set free,

“I’ve shared with you the path of grace,

In joy, my love you’ll always trace.”

With every promise, hope ignites,

In shadows deep, He brings the light,

“Complete in Me, your soul’s delight,

Abide in love, embrace the night.”

A friend so true, He calls my name,

In every trial, the same refrain,

“To walk with Me, to heed My call,

In love’s embrace, you’ll never fall.”

His joy within, a river flows,

Through stormy seas, His peace bestows,

With every step, in faith I stand,

In friendship deep, I hold His hand.

So let us share this bond divine,

In every heartbeat, His love entwined,

For in surrender, life will bloom,

In Christ, our hearts find room after room.

Together we’ll journey, side by side,

In His sweet presence, we abide,

For in His joy, our spirits soar,

In love’s embrace, forevermore. Amen.
