The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 12 Verse 24 thru 26

24 “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit. 25 Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will preserve it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there also will my servant be. The Father will honor whoever serves me.”

In John 12:24-26, Jesus presents a profound truth about the nature of life, sacrifice, and service. He says, "Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." This analogy highlights the essence of surrender—true life comes from letting go of our worldly attachments and desires to embrace God's will. By dying to our selfish ambitions and worldly pursuits, we open ourselves to the transformative power of Christ and, in doing so, become vessels of His grace.

When we surrender to the will of God in Christ Jesus, we are invited into a new existence—one where our lives are no longer about us, but about serving others. This selfless act of service is not merely about physical help; it’s about guiding others to understand the meaning of Salvation. In Christ, we find the ultimate expression of love and sacrifice, and it is through our witness and actions that others can grasp the hope of eternal life.

As we die to our former selves, we are reborn into a life dedicated to helping others navigate their spiritual journeys. Our purpose shifts from one of self-interest to one of divine service. We become living testimonies of God’s grace, embodying the message of Salvation. In this commitment, we discover that by losing our lives for Christ’s sake, we do not face the end, but rather, we experience the beginning of a life filled with eternal significance. May we all embrace this calling to serve, understanding that our surrender paves the way for others to find the path to everlasting life in Him. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. Novena Day Two for Mike Carter. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

The Father Will Honor Whoever Serves Me

In the garden where shadows play,

A truth unfurls in a sacred way,

“Unless a grain of wheat must fall,

To rise anew, it does not call.”

The whisper of night, the dawn's embrace,

Life and death dance in sacred space,

In surrender, the heart finds its song,

In letting go, we all belong.

To follow the path that love has paved,

To seek the lost, the weary, the brave,

Wherever He leads, we find our place,

In service and sacrifice, we see His grace.

So let us journey, hand in hand,

Through valleys deep, on shifting sand,

To love, to serve, to give our all,

In losing ourselves, we heed the call.

Eternal promise, the seed will grow,

In the heart of the One who loves, we know,

For in the shadows, light breaks through,

In selfless love, we’re born anew. Amen.
