The Gospel of John Chapter One Verse One Thru Eighteen
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. What came to be 4 through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race; 5 the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 6 A man named John was sent from God. 7 He came for testimony, to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light, but came to testify to the light. 9 The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world came to be through him, but the world did not know him. 11 He came to what was his own, but his own people did not accept him. 12 But to those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believe in his name, 13 who were born not by natural generation nor by human choice nor by a man’s decision but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth. 15 John testified to him and cried out, saying, “This was he of whom I said, “‘The one who is coming after me ranks ahead of me because he existed before me.’” 16 From his fullness we have all received, grace in place of grace, 17 because while the law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God. The only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, has revealed him.
As we celebrate Christmas today, let us reflect on the profound message found in John 1:1-18. This passage begins with the powerful declaration that "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." This Word, which became flesh in Jesus, embodies the essence of God Himself and shines light into the darkness of our lives.
Just as Christ entered our world as an innocent infant, you too have the potential to grow and transform. Like that child, you are on a journey of rehabilitation and renewal. This season reminds us of the incredible gift of salvation—an opportunity to embrace growth and responsibility for our actions. Through Jesus, you can begin anew, shedding past burdens and stepping into the calling of becoming true Child of God.
As you reflect on this sacred occasion, know that you are not alone. Christ’s birth signifies hope, love, and the possibility of reconciliation. Salvation came to mankind today, offering each of you a path to freedom—freedom from guilt, shame, and the chains of your past. In Jesus, there is truth and healing; you can reconcile all things and live in a way that honors your divine purpose.
Embrace this Christmas as a moment not just of celebration but of commitment. Just as Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, so too can you. Seek to mature in your faith, taking responsibility for your journey and actions. Together, let us step forward, empowered by the light of Christ, to live out the message of salvation that was made flesh on this sacred day. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20
12-25-2025 John 1 v0118
**No One Has Ever Seen God**
In the beginning was the Word, so clear,
With God, the Creator, ever so near.
The Word was both God, and was with Him in light,
In unity shining, dispelling the night.
Through Him all was made, every star, every sea,
Life woven in whispers, a divine tapestry.
In Him was the life, a radiant flame,
The light of all people, forever the same.
The darkness approached, fierce and profound,
Yet the light shone resilient, unyielding, unbound.
A witness arose, with a clarion voice,
John came to proclaim, to herald the choice.
"Behold the true Light," he boldly declared,
The One who brings joy, for all who have dared.
He came to His own, yet they turned away,
But to those who received Him, a new dawn at bay.
To them He granted the power to see,
To be born of the Spirit, to live and be free.
Not by blood, nor by will, nor the flesh of a man,
But born of God’s promise, His glorious plan.
And the Word became flesh, and among us He dwelt,
Full of grace and truth, His presence we felt.
From His fullness we’ve received, grace upon grace,
In the depths of our hearts, we’ve encountered His face.
No one has seen God, the Father above,
But the Son reveals Him, in mercy and love.
Full of wisdom and kindness, His glory displayed,
In the sacred embrace of the truth unafraid.
So let us remember, as the seasons unfold,
The story of love, in each verse we behold.
For in the beginning, the Word is our Might,
Leading us onward through shadows to Light. Amen.
