The Gospel of John Chapter 14 Verses One thru Seven

1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me.2 In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be. 4 Where [I] am going you know the way.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?”6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you know me, then you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

In John 14:1-7, Jesus offers profound comfort and assurance to His disciples during a time of uncertainty. He begins with a command not to let their hearts be troubled, inviting them to trust in both God and Himself. This passage encapsulates the essence of Christian faith: that through Jesus, we find not only reassurance but also a definitive path toward eternal life.

Jesus introduces the concept of His Father’s house, where there are many rooms, signifying the expansive and inclusive nature of God’s kingdom. He emphasizes that He is going to prepare a place for His followers. This promise serves as a reminder that our journey in faith leads to a glorious destination that Jesus Himself has secured for us.

As the unfolding dialogue continues, Jesus asserts, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” These three profound declarations form the core of Christian belief. By calling Himself "the way," Jesus indicates that He is our guide, leading us through the complexities of life and into divine communion. He is not merely a teacher pointing toward the path; He is the path itself.

Further, He claims to be "the truth," revealing that genuine understanding and wisdom come not from worldly knowledge but from a relationship with Him. In a world filled with confusion and conflicting beliefs, Jesus presents Himself as the ultimate reality.

Lastly, when He declares Himself "the life," Jesus highlights the transformative power of faith in Him—granting us spiritual rebirth and eternal life.

By following Jesus, we are guaranteed clarity and purpose on our journey to salvation. May we find peace and guidance in our commitment to Him, reassured that through Him, we know the Way, the Truth, and the Life of Salvation. Amen.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. Novena Johnny Day TWO. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**I Am the Way and the Truth**

In troubled times, He speaks with grace,

“Let not your hearts be filled with fright,

In My Father’s house, a welcoming place,

A refuge awaits, bathed in light.”

He’s gone to prepare a home so grand,

With rooms that beckon, calm and wide,

A promise whispered, His loving hand,

He’ll guide us through, stay by our side.

“I am the Way, the Truth you seek,

The Life that flows through every soul,

In darkness, my light will make you meek,

Through me, you’re safe, you’re whole.”

So let us trust, as we walk His path,

Embrace the peace that He imparts,

For in His love, we finally grasp,

His hope and grace, within our hearts. Amen.
