The Book of Psalms Chapter 72 V- 11 through 14

11 May all kings bow before him, all nations serve him. 12 For he rescues the poor when they cry out, the oppressed who have no one to help. 13 He shows pity to the needy and the poor and saves the lives of the poor. 14 From extortion and violence he redeems them, for precious is their blood in his sight.

Psalm 72:11-14 offers a powerful vision of divine justice and care, illustrating God's unwavering commitment to the oppressed and marginalized. The verses proclaim, "All kings will bow down to him, and all nations will serve him." This imagery underscores the authority of God and His anointed, reminding us that even in a world filled with turmoil and injustice, divine power is on the side of the vulnerable.

For those who feel forgotten, poor, or needy, these verses serve as a profound reminder that they are not alone. The Lord sees their plight and stands ready to champion their cause. In verse 12, it states, "For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help." This assurance is vital for anyone who has ever felt abandoned or overlooked. God's love transcends all barriers, reaching into the depths of despair to bring hope and healing.

As we reflect on these words, let us remember that God's compassion is a refuge for the oppressed. His love is a balm that soothes the aching heart and offers peace amidst life's storms. No matter how dire our circumstances may seem, we can take comfort in knowing that the Almighty fights for us. He hears our cries and responds with grace, bringing rest to our souls.

In times of struggle, when the weight of the world feels heavy, we must cling to this truth: God's love overcomes all ills. He is our defender, our advocate, and our peace. So, let us trust in His promise, finding solace in the knowledge that we are never truly forgotten or alone. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

12-17-2024 Psalms 72 v1114

**He Shows Pity to the Needy**

In the shadow of the mountains high,

Where the weary hearts often sigh,

A promise whispers in the breeze,

A hope for the poor, a heart at ease.

All kings will bow, all nations yield,

To the love of God, the sacred shield.

For in His grace, the needy find,

A refuge safe, a love defined.

He hears the cries of those in need,

The broken, the lost, the hearts that bleed.

With arms of mercy, He draws us near,

Transforming sorrow into everlasting cheer.

In every struggle, He stands tall,

A champion for the meek and the small.

The afflicted, forgotten, held in His light,

Find rest in His love, through darkest night.

So let the oppressed lift up their song,

For in His justice, they truly belong.

With peace that passes all we know,

In God's embrace, our spirits grow. Amen.
