The Book of Sirach Ch Eight v- 10 thru 11

10 Do not kindle the coals of sinners, lest you be burned in their flaming fire. 11 Do not give ground before scoundrels; it will set them in ambush against you.

What’s the old adage, “You play with fire you get burned?” Let’s hear a few and reflect on the truth of how we stay clear of what will kill us then listen to a Haiku that reflects this love of living. Seems obvious to me but you “Don't poke the bear. Tempting fate leads to regret. Don't dance with the devil. When you toy with danger, danger toys with you. Take risks, get burnt. Don't test the waters if you can't swim. Don't push your luck. If you walk on thin ice, you'll eventually fall through. Disregard caution, invite disaster. Don't tempt the gods. Playing with a loaded gun leads to trouble. When you flirt with danger, you invite its company. Don't underestimate the consequences of your actions. Don't gamble with your fate. Or how about my original, “Sinners cove death he dove?” There are too many ways to kill yourself or just bringing detriment to your soul. You see what the world promotes and what a life in Christ brings why is it so hard to make that choice? The choice to serve rather than seeking pleasure in self. Listen to it in a Haiku the joy of poetry in original form from my heart to yours learning not to love the devil’s dance that kills but the Light of Truth. Amen. This Haiku’s title is;

Devil’s Dance of Death

Temptation lures near,

Don’t dance with the Devil’s flame,

Choose light, break free, soar.

Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and HB Jeffrey 25 today and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a little boy named David Alexander. Praise God thank You Jesus. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Burned you for sure

Fire flaming theirs caught
