Letter to the Ephesians Ch 3 Verse 14 thru 21
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that he may grant you in accord with the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner self, 17 and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to accomplish far more than all we ask or imagine, by the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
In Ephesians 3:14-21, the Apostle Paul articulates a profound prayer that encapsulates the essence of our relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ. He begins by emphasizing the importance of kneeling before the Father, a posture that symbolizes humility, reverence, and surrender. In our daily lives, we often encounter challenges and internal struggles that can feel overwhelming. Yet, Paul reminds us that we have a source of strength beyond our own capabilities—the power of the Holy Spirit.
By kneeling daily, we acknowledge our dependence on God. This act of submission opens our hearts and minds to receive the transformative work of the Spirit, enabling us to address the issues that plague our inner beings. When we approach God in prayer, we invite His strength to empower us, helping us to correct our flaws and heal our wounds.
Paul goes on to express that we are to be rooted and established in love, allowing it to fill us to the measure of all the fullness of God. This love acts as a foundation that grounds us amid life’s turmoil. It drives out fear, heals past hurts, and allows us to extend grace to ourselves and others.
In a world that often pushes us to be self-reliant, let us remember to humbly kneel before the Father and the Son every single day. By doing so, we open ourselves to the incredible power of the Spirit, finding strength for our inner selves and guidance for our journeys.
May we seek this intimate connection with God consistently, trusting that He will work within us to align our hearts with His will. As Paul concludes, He is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. Novena Prayers Day One for Kelly Zorros Diefendorf. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

By The Power At Work Within Us
In humble prayer, I bend the knee,
To the Father, from whom all love flows free,
In heaven’s heights and earth’s embrace,
In every nation, each time, and space.
Before His gaze, my heart does yearn,
For strength and wisdom, my soul does burn,
That through the Spirit, deep in the heart,
Christ’s dwelling place may hence impart.
May love abound, vast as the sea,
With depth and height, beyond what we see,
To grasp the breadth of His endless grace,
To know His fullness, in every place.
To Him who’s able, beyond all we ask,
In His mighty power, we find our task,
Glory be His, in the church and in Christ,
Through generations, His love is enticed.
Now to the One who can do much more,
Than all our hopes, our dreams, and the lore,
To Him be glory, forever we sing,
In the heart of the Church, our Savior, our King. Amen.
