The 1st Letter to the Thessalonians Chapter 4 Verses 9 thru 12

9 On the subject of mutual charity you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another. 10 Indeed, you do this for all the brothers throughout Macedonia. Nevertheless, we urge you, brothers, to progress even more, 11 and to aspire to live a tranquil life, to mind your own affairs, and to work with your [own] hands, as we instructed you, 12 that you may conduct yourselves properly toward outsiders and not depend on anyone.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:9-12, the Apostle Paul emphasizes the importance of living a life that reflects Christ's love and teachings through our everyday actions. He commends the Thessalonian believers for their love for one another, underscoring that this is a key characteristic of the Christian faith. However, Paul encourages them to continue growing in this love, highlighting that our relationship with God should inspire us to express kindness and care in our interactions.

In verses 11 and 12, Paul instructs them to "aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands." This call to focus on one’s own responsibilities serves as a reminder that each of us has a unique calling and duty within God's kingdom. By concentrating on our own tasks and being diligent in our work, we can exemplify Christ in practical ways. Our actions reflect our faith, and exemplifying diligence and self-restraint communicates the gospel effectively to those around us.

Moreover, living quietly and minding our own business enables us to foster peace in our communities. When we engage positively in our responsibilities and refrain from unnecessary interference in others' lives, we create an environment conducive to love and understanding. A life well-lived that mirrors the character of Christ can draw others to Him, as they see His influence in our demeanor and choices.

In a world rife with distractions and drama, remember to focus on your own affairs. Live with purpose, work hard, and embody the grace and love of your Savior. By doing so, we not only honor God but also exemplify to others the transformative power of Christ in our lives. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Mind Your Own Affairs**

In grace, our hearts entwined, we grow,

In love, our spirits soar and flow.

With tender hands and humble gaze,

We seek to walk in quiet ways.

Mind your own affairs, take heed,

In daily work, let kindness lead.

With every task, let Christ’s light shine,

In all our labors, His love divine.

Let peace and patience mark our days,

As we aspire to love and eternally praise.

In doing good, let others see,

The Savior’s heart, alive in me.

So live with purpose, calm, and true,

Reflect His grace in all we do.

In every moment, let love guide,

As we exemplify our Savior's side. Amen.
