The 1st Letter to the Corinthians Ch 2 Verse 10 thru 16

10 This God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit scrutinizes everything, even the depths of God. 11 Among human beings, who knows what pertains to a person except the spirit of the person that is within? Similarly, no one knows what pertains to God except the Spirit of God. 12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the things freely given us by God. 13 And we speak about them not with words taught by human wisdom, but with words taught by the Spirit, describing spiritual realities in spiritual terms. 14 Now the natural person does not accept what pertains to the Spirit of God, for to him it is foolishness, and he cannot understand it, because it is judged spiritually. 15 The spiritual person, however, can judge everything but is not subject to judgment by anyone. 16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to counsel him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

In 1 Corinthians 2:10-16, the Apostle Paul reminds us of the profound gift we have received through the Holy Spirit. These verses convey a powerful truth: we have been given the Spirit that is from God, enabling us to comprehend the incredible gifts and wisdom freely bestowed upon us by our Creator. This divine insight sets believers apart, allowing us to perceive and appreciate spiritual truths that may remain hidden from those relying solely on human understanding.

Paul emphasizes that our communication of these sacred truths should not rely on mere human wisdom or eloquence. Instead, we are called to express what we have received through the teaching and guidance of the Spirit. This shift from secular reasoning to spiritual understanding is crucial as it signifies the transformative power of God’s revelation in our lives. When we speak, it should reflect the depth of what we have learned from the Spirit, not just what is popular or intellectually acceptable in the world.

As Christians, we are not only recipients of God's gifts but also ambassadors of His message. It is essential to recognize that the Spirit equips us to share insights that transcend human limitations. This divine wisdom provides clarity and purpose as we navigate our spiritual journey and engage with others.

Let us remember, we have the mind of Christ—an extraordinary privilege that empowers us to discern His truths and share them with authenticity. As we walk in faith, let us lean on the Spirit's guidance, ensuring that our words resonate with His divine wisdom. Through this, we will cultivate a deeper understanding of God's gifts and effectively reflect His light in a world that desperately needs it. Amen.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

We Have The Mind Of Christ

In depths where wisdom often hides, 

Beyond what human thought abides, 

The Spirit searches realms unseen, 

Unveiling truths where grace has gleaned. 

For who can know the heart's true plea, 

But He who stirs our mystery? 

God's secrets laid before our sight, 

Illuminated by His eternal light. 

What eye has seen, what ear has heard, 

The things bestowed without a word? 

But through the Spirit’s gentle grace, 

Unfolds the depths of love’s embrace. 

We’ve been given a mind anew, 

A wisdom birthed, a clearer view, 

Not of this world, nor fleshly way, 

But thoughts divine that guide our day. 

In unity, we stand as His holy one, 

With Christ the work of grace begun, 

To know the heart of God so wide, 

In Spirit's truth, we now abide. 

So let us grasp the gift we share, 

His mind within; His love laid bare, 

With reverence, truth, and faith never void, 

In Christ alone, our hearts employed. Amen.
