The Gospel of Luke Chapter 21 V- 12 and 19
12 “Before all this happens, however, they will seize and persecute you, they will hand you over to the synagogues and to prisons, and they will have you led before kings and governors because of my name. 13 It will lead to your giving testimony. 14 Remember, you are not to prepare your defense beforehand, 15 for I myself shall give you a wisdom in speaking that all your adversaries will be powerless to resist or refute. 16 You will even be handed over by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends, and they will put some of you to death. 17 You will be hated by all because of my name, 18 but not a hair on your head will be destroyed. 19 By your perseverance you will secure your lives.”
In Luke 21:12-19, Jesus provides profound insights into the challenges believers may face in a world that often opposes their faith. He forewarns His followers that they will encounter persecution, imprisonment, and betrayal. Yet, amidst these trials, He reassures them that they will be granted wisdom and words to speak when the time comes. This passage resonates deeply with me, reminding me of the importance of trusting the Lord to provide the right words at the right moment.
In moments when our faith is tested, it can be tempting to rely solely on our own understanding or to speak out of fear and frustration. However, Jesus encourages us to lean into His promise of wisdom. This means discerning when to speak and when to let our actions reflect our beliefs. I am reminded that our deeds often communicate more powerfully than our words. Living a life marked by the joy of being redeemed and the beauty of salvation is a profound testimony in itself.
Trusting the Lord empowers us to act with grace and love, even in challenging circumstances. When we embody the principles of our faith through our actions, we invite others to see the light of Christ within us. It is essential to remember that our ultimate goal is to live for Him, allowing our lives to be a testament to His goodness.
In times of need, let us seek His guidance, speaking only when necessary, while our lives overflow with the joy of salvation. May our every action reflect the transformative power of faith in Christ, drawing others into the beauty of His grace forgiven. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Your Adversaries will be Powerless to Refute**
In shadows deep, the trials loom,
As faith is tested, hearts may gloom.
Yet in the storm, a voice so clear,
“Fear not, my child, for I am near.”
When foes arise and words seem few,
Trust in the Lord; He'll guide you through.
In moments dark, when courage wanes,
His wisdom flows, like gentle rains.
Persecution may come, a heavy cost,
But in your struggle, you’ll not be lost.
For every tear and every sigh,
He walks beside you, ever nigh.
Let not your heart be filled with dread,
For even when the path seems dead,
Your actions speak of love untold,
A living witness, brave and bold.
In joy redeemed, your spirit sings,
Trusting the beauty salvation brings.
With every step, let grace abound,
In silent strength, His love is found.
So when the hour of trial draws near,
Stand firm in faith, cast out all fear.
For in His presence, words will flow,
A testament to the love you eternally know.
In every challenge, let Him shine bright,
Reflect His glory, be His light.
With hearts aligned and spirits free,
We live for Christ, eternally. Amen.
