The Gospel of John Chapter 10 V- 25 and 30

25 Jesus answered them, “I told you and you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify to me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not among my sheep. 27 My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”

In John 10:25-30, Jesus asserts His identity as the Good Shepherd, emphasizing the intimate relationship He shares with His followers. He states, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” This profound declaration invites us to reflect on the nature of our relationship with Christ. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we enter a transformative journey where His voice becomes our guiding light.

Hearing Christ’s voice is not merely a passive experience; it requires an active commitment to living in accordance with His Word. As we immerse ourselves in Scripture and cultivate a daily practice of prayer and proclamation, we sharpen our worship ability to discern His guidance in all aspects of our lives. The more we engage with the teachings of Jesus, the more attuned we become to His voice, leading us toward righteousness and away from confusion.

Being steadfast in our faith means anchoring our lives in the principles of God’s Word. This steadfastness allows us to navigate the challenges of life with confidence, knowing that we are not alone. We can trust that Christ, as our Shepherd, is continually guiding us, protecting us from harm, and leading us to abundant life.

Moreover, Jesus reassures us of our security in Him: “No one can snatch them out of my hand.” This promise underscores the depth of His love and the assurance we have as His followers. When we listen to His voice and align our actions with His teachings, we experience the peace that surpasses all understanding.

In summary, embracing Christ as our Savior opens the door to a profound relationship where we hear His voice guiding us. Remaining steadfast in the Word equips us to follow Him wholeheartedly, ensuring that we walk in His light every day. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

11-22-2024 John 10 v2530

**My Sheep Hear My Voice and Follow Me**

In the quiet of the morning light,

A Shepherd calls, a voice so bright,

“My sheep hear me, they know my name,

In love and grace, I guide their fame.”

Through valleys deep and mountains high,

With gentle whispers, I draw nigh,

In every trial, they hear my call,

With steadfast hearts, they will not fall.

For those who seek, and choose to follow,

In faith they walk, through joy and sorrow,

My hand protects, no foe can snatch,

In bonds of love, we’re tightly latched.

Eternal promise, I give to thee,

No power on earth can sever, you see,

For in my embrace, you find your rest,

In every season, you are blessed.

So listen close, my sheep, be still,

In every moment, seek my will,

For I am the way, the truth, the life,

In me, you’ll find peace amidst the strife.

With hearts aligned, we walk as one,

In the warmth of love, our journey begun,

Together we tread, hand in hand,

In the Shepherd’s voice, forever we stand. Amen.
