The Book of Ezekiel Chapter 33 V- Ten thru Eleven
10 As for you, son of man, speak to the house of Israel: You people say, “Our crimes and our sins weigh us down; we are rotting away because of them. How can we survive?” 11 Answer them: As I live—oracle of the Lord GOD—I swear I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! Why should you die, house of Israel?
In Ezekiel 33:10-16, God expresses His desire for the wicked to turn from their sin and live, emphasizing that He does not take pleasure in their death. This profound message reveals God's loving nature, highlighting His longing for all to come to repentance. He urges us to choose life over death, underscoring His grace and mercy. This theme resonates throughout the New Testament as well, particularly in 2 Peter 3:9, where it states that God is “not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
My personal journey reflects this divine desire for redemption. For years, my life was marred by sin, leading me into a dark abyss where despair clouded my every thought. In my deepest moments of hopelessness, I contemplated suicide, convinced that there was no way out of my pain. However, in that moment of desperation, I found the courage to call upon the name of Jesus. I realized that the love of Christ could transform my heart and offer me the hope I so desperately sought.
When I repented and embraced Jesus as my Savior, I felt an overwhelming joy and peace wash over me—something I had never experienced before. Through His grace, I was given a second chance, a promise of eternal life that reassured me I was not defined by my past sins. Instead, I became a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
God's heart breaks for those lost in sin, not because He desires their demise, but because He yearns for their restoration. In turning to Jesus, I discovered that no one is beyond the reach of His love, and there is always hope for a new beginning. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**No Pleasure in the Death of the Wicked**
In the shadow of the watchtower's call,
Ezekiel speaks to the hearts of all.
"Son of man," the Lord's voice rings clear,
A warning for those who refuse to hear.
"Say to the people, burdened with fear,
Your sins weigh heavy, the end draws near.
If the righteous falter, and turn from their way,
Their past deeds forgotten; unless darkness they stay."
Yet hope still lingers in God's embrace,
For His mercy abounds, and His love filled grace.
"Repent from your sin; turn back to the light,
In the depths of despair, I offer you clear sight."
The wicked, too, can find grace at the throne,
If they turn from their evil, they're never alone.
So heed the call, let your heart be contrite,
For the path of redemption shines ever so bright.
In the watchman's duty, the truth must be told,
The choice lies before you, both humble and bold.
For life’s not a ledger of deeds good or ill—
But the heart’s true repentance that shapes God’s will. Amen.
