One John Chapter One V- One through Four

1 What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we looked upon and touched with our hands concerns the Word of life—2 for the life was made visible; we have seen it and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was made visible to us—3 what we have seen and heard we proclaim now to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; for our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We are writing this so that our joy may be complete.

In 1 John 1:1-4, the Apostle John introduces us to the profound reality of the Word of Life, which is Christ Himself. He speaks of what was heard, seen, and touched, emphasizing the tangible nature of our faith. Even as I sit here, feeling under the weather and enveloped in a fog of fatigue, I find solace in these verses. Despite my physical weakness, God's faithfulness shines through.

The Word of Life is not just a concept; it is the embodiment of hope and completeness. In my surrender to God, I recognize that my frailty does not diminish His strength. Instead, it is in my vulnerability that I discover the fullness of His grace. I may feel terrible, but in Christ, I am made whole. His presence envelops me like a warm blanket, reminding me that I am not alone in my struggles.

As John writes about the fellowship we share with the Father and with one another, I realize that this communion transcends my current state. Even when my body feels weak, my spirit can rejoice in the truth that I am a part of a larger family, bound together by the love of Christ. This fellowship brings me joy, and it is a reminder that God is ever faithful to His promises.

In my weakened state, I cling to the assurance that my Savior makes me complete. He is the source of my strength and comfort. I may not feel well in body, but my spirit rejoices in the goodness of God. In Him, I find my wholeness, and I am grateful for His constant presence in my life, even in the most challenging moments. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Jesus was Made Visible to Us The Word of Life**

In the beginning, the Word was near,

A whispered promise, to calm our fear.

Heard and seen, with hands that touched,

The Savior’s love, a gift so much.

The fellowship we share, a bond so true,

With the Father and Son, and me and you.

In joy we gather, hearts intertwined,

In His holy presence, our hope aligned.

Though troubles weigh, and days feel long,

The Word of Life sings a faithful song.

In surrender, I find my peace,

From weary burdens, my fears release.

Each moment shared, a grace bestowed,

His love, a river, forever flowed.

Though I may falter, He lifts me high,

In His tender mercy, I learn to fly.

So here I stand, in weakness still,

Yet in His promise, I find His will.

For in this life, though trials may come,

In Christ, I’m whole, my heart’s succumb.

Amen, I say, the truth I hold,

In the Word of Life, my story told.

With every breath, I praise His name,

For in His light, I’m never the same. Amen.
