The Book of Psalms Chapter 139 v- 66 thru 72
66 Teach me wisdom and knowledge, for in your commandments I trust. 67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I hold to your promise. 68 You are good and do what is good; teach me your statutes. 69 The arrogant smear me with lies, but I keep your precepts with all my heart. 71 It was good for me to be afflicted, in order to learn your statutes. 72 The law of your mouth is more precious to me than heaps of silver and gold.
Psalm 119:66-73 beautifully encapsulates the journey of seeking wisdom and understanding through God's Word. The psalmist cries out for guidance, recognizing that it is through divine instruction that one finds true knowledge and insight. These verses resonate deeply with my own experience when I first surrendered my life to Christ. In that pivotal moment, I felt an overwhelming craving for the knowledge of God’s Word. I realized that understanding His teachings was essential to my spiritual growth and fulfillment.
This yearning led me to create a scripture study I call “Universal Utterings.” For the past 20 years, I have diligently engaged in this daily practice, immersing myself in Scripture and seeking the wisdom that God imparts through His Word. Each day, I delve into the verses, much like the psalmist, asking for understanding and insight. The more I study, the more I recognize the transformative power of God’s teachings in my life.
Psalm 119:71 states, “It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.” This reflects my own journey, as the trials I faced ultimately drew me closer to God. Jesus saved me from despair and confusion, offering clarity and purpose. Now, I am passionate about sharing this truth with others, proclaiming that Jesus is the only way to Eternal Life.
Through “Universal Utterings,” I aim to inspire others to seek the wisdom of God’s Word, just as I have. The journey of faith is one of continual growth, and I am grateful to walk this path, sharing the hope and love of Christ with everyone I encounter. This path has brought me to create my own 501c3 Non Profit called, “God First Ministries, Inc.” and I live to provide goodwill now to anyone, anytime and anywhere. Especially to the men in prison where we minister to brokenhearted giving them hope. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

10-03-2024 Psalm 119 V-6672
**Teach Me Wisdom and Knowledge**
Teach me, Lord, the paths of truth,
In Your Word, I find my youth.
With open heart, my mind I bring,
Craving the knowledge that You eternally sing.
Grant me insight, deep and clear,
In every trial, You draw me near.
Affliction, though painful, reveals the way,
To learn Your decrees, I humbly pray.
Your laws are sweeter than the finest gold,
In their embrace, my spirit is bold.
In the shadows, Your light will always shine,
With every promise, my heart aligns.
Though trials may come, I shall not fear,
Your wisdom guides, forever near.
In seeking You, my soul finds rest,
In the treasure of Your Word, I am truly blessed.
So I’ll cherish each every sacred line,
For in Your truth, my heart will shine.
Teach me, Lord, Your wisdom divine,
In every moment, Your truth in kind. Amen.
