The Book of Psalms Chapter 90 v- 7 thru 10

7 Truly we are consumed by your anger, filled with terror by your wrath. 8 You have kept our faults before you, our hidden sins in the light of your face. 9 Our life ebbs away under your wrath; our years end like a sigh. 10 Seventy is the sum of our years, or eighty, if we are strong; Most of them are toil and sorrow; they pass quickly, and we are gone.

Psalm 90:7-10 reflects on the fleeting nature of life, reminding us that our days are numbered and often filled with toil and trouble. The verses state, “We are consumed by your anger and terrified by your indignation. You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence. All our days pass away under your wrath; we finish our years with a moan. The length of our days is seventy years—or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.”

As I approach my 70th birthday in less than eight years, I find these words resonate deeply within me. It’s almost hard to believe how swiftly time has flown. Each year seems to slip through my fingers like sand, and I often reflect on how I’ve spent those precious moments. The weight of the Psalm’s message is a stark reminder of our mortality and the urgency of how we live our lives.

Despite this somber reflection, I find solace in the understanding that it is never too late to call on the Lord. In Christ, I've discovered a profound fulfillment of my life’s calling, allowing me to navigate the challenges of my past with grace and forgiveness. The beauty of faith is that it brings hope, even in the twilight of life. It is the reason why I fulfilled His call in me to become a “Teacher of God’s Children.”

As I approach this significant milestone, I am reminded that each day is a precious gift, an opportunity to embrace the present and seek a deeper relationship with God. The journey may be brief, but through Christ, I have found purpose, love, and the promise of redemption, reassuring me that it’s never too late for a new beginning. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

10-13-2024 Psalm 90 V-0710

**Sins Hidden God Knows**

In shadows cast by fleeting years,

Our days are marked by toil and tears,

Consumed by time, we feel its weight,

In secret sins, we always contemplate.

Your anger, Lord, we cannot flee,

Yet in Your light, we long to be.

Our years, a whisper, soon they fade,

With every breath, our debts are laid.

Seventy years, perhaps a score,

Yet even eighty holds no more,

For trouble and sorrow intertwine,

As moments slip, like sands, divine.

Yet still, O Lord, we seek Your grace,

In Christ, we find our rightful place.

No late arrival, no lost chance,

In love's embrace, we learn to dance.

Though time may fly, we find our call,

In faith, we rise, we will not fall.

Each day a gift, a chance to grow,

In Your forgiveness, we’ll overflow.

So let us live, with hearts aflame,

In every joy, we praise Your name.

For in our fleeting, fragile days,

We find our strength in endless praise. Amen.
