The Letter to the Hebrews Chapter 9 V- 24 and 28

24 For Christ did not enter into a sanctuary made by hands, a copy of the true one, but heaven itself, that he might now appear before God on our behalf. 25 Not that he might offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters each year into the sanctuary with blood that is not his own; 26 if that were so, he would have had to suffer repeatedly from the foundation of the world. But now once for all he has appeared at the end of the ages to take away sin by his sacrifice. 27 Just as it is appointed that human beings die once, and after this the judgment, 28 so also Christ, offered once to take away the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to take away sin but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await him.

Hebrews 9:24-28 offers profound insight into the nature of Christ's sacrifice and the hope of salvation that awaits those who surrender to God's will. The passage emphasizes that Christ did not enter a mere earthly sanctuary, but the heavenly one, presenting Himself as the ultimate High Priest. His sacrifice was once and for all, a perfect offering that transcends the temporary rituals of the Old Covenant. In doing so, He secured eternal redemption for humanity.

The verses remind us that just as it is appointed for humans to die once and then face judgment, Christ's return will not be to bear sin again but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await Him. This anticipation is not passive; it calls for an active pursuit of His will in our lives. Surrendering to God's purpose is essential for those who seek to glorify the Gospel and embody the Words of Truth.

In a world filled with distractions and uncertainties, the promise of salvation stands firm, offering hope and assurance. When we align our lives with God's desires, we participate in a divine narrative that leads to eternal life. Our actions, rooted in faith and devotion, reflect our commitment to glorifying Him through our words and deeds.

Let us, therefore, embrace the call to surrender, knowing that salvation eagerly awaits those who seek the face of the Lord. As we strive to honor His Word and share the Gospel, we become vessels of His grace, sharing the truth that leads to eternal life. In this pursuit, we find not just hope, but the reality of living forever in His presence. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

01-27-2025 Hebrews 9 v2428

**Sin Taken Away by His Sacrifice**

In the heavens, Christ our High Priest stands,

Not in shadows, but in glory as the Father demands.

He offered Himself, a sacrifice pure,

For our redemption, His love is sure.

Once for all, He made the way,

Breaking the chains of sin’s dark sway.

No more the blood of goats or lambs,

In His grace, our hope still stands.

As we wait with hearts ablaze,

For His return, we lift our praise.

Judgment awaits, yet we are bold,

In His promise, our souls are told.

So let us surrender, seek His will,

With every breath, our spirits fill.

To glorify the Gospel’s light,

In His truth, we find our might. Amen.
