The Book of Psalms Chapter 9 Verse One thru Twenty One

1 For the leader; according to Muth Labben. A psalm of David. 2 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will declare all your wondrous deeds. 3 I will delight and rejoice in you; I will sing hymns to your name, Most High. 4 When my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish before you. 5 For you upheld my right and my cause, seated on your throne, judging justly. 6 You rebuked the nations, you destroyed the wicked; their name you blotted out for all time. 7 The enemies have been ruined forever; you destroyed their cities; their memory has perished. 8 The LORD rules forever, has set up his throne for judgment. 9 It is he who judges the world with justice, who judges the peoples with fairness. 10 The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. 11 Those who know your name trust in you; you never forsake those who seek you, LORD. 12 Sing hymns to the LORD enthroned on Zion; proclaim his deeds among the nations! 13 For the avenger of bloodshed remembers, does not forget the cry of the afflicted. 14 Be gracious to me, LORD; see how my foes afflict me! You alone can raise me from the gates of death. 15 Then I will declare all your praises, sing joyously of your salvation in the gates of daughter Zion. 16 The nations fall into the pit they dig; in the snare they hide, their own foot is caught. 17 The LORD is revealed in making judgments: by the deeds they do the wicked are trapped. 18 To Sheol the wicked will depart, all the nations that forget God. 19 For the needy will never be forgotten, nor will the hope of the afflicted ever fade. 20 Arise, LORD, let no mortal prevail; let the nations be judged in your presence. 21 Strike them with terror, LORD; show the nations they are only human.

Psalm 9 is a profound reminder of God's unwavering presence in times of trouble and distress. The psalmist opens by praising the Lord for His marvelous deeds, declaring that God is a refuge and a stronghold during times of trouble. This scripture beautifully encapsulates the assurance that we can always turn to God, especially when faced with life's challenges.

In our moments of despair, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, but Psalm 9 encourages us to call upon the Lord—not just in times of crisis but day and night, in every aspect of our lives. This consistent communication with God fosters a deep, abiding relationship that empowers us to navigate the storms we face. By surrendering our worries and fears to Him, we invite His divine intervention into our circumstances.

It is often in our surrender that we discover the unfathomable peace that only Christ can provide. This peace transcends understanding, offering solace even when the world around us is chaotic. It reassures us that our problems are ultimately met with God's Holy Will, which is always good and perfect.

Let us remember that our calls to God should not be confined to moments of desperation but should be woven throughout our daily lives. Approach Him with gratitude, seek His guidance in all decisions, and trust in His plans. The Lord desires a relationship with us, and He promises to deliver us from our troubles. As we surrender ourselves to His will, we unlock the fullness of His peace, allowing us to face any challenge with renewed strength and hope. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. The Soul of Edgar Bruce. RIP In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

11-22-2025 Psalm 9 v0121

**Show The Nations They Are Only Human**

In shadows deep where sorrows dwell,

A song of praise begins to swell,

From lips unbound, a heart ignites,

To echo faith in darkest nights.

The Lord, my refuge, strong and true,

In battles fought, He sees me through,

With righteous hand, He casts away,

The prideful hearts that dare to sway.

His deeds are wondrous, strength renowned,

In every corner, joy is found.

From every foe and trial's sting,

My voice shall rise, my spirit sing.

Judgment rolls like thunder's roar,

The righteous stand on truth’s firm shore,

While wicked schemes are swept aside,

In justice pure, my hopes abide.

In memory, the nations fade,

Their fleeting power, a fleeting shade.

Yet we, the faithful, lift our gaze,

To Him who reigns through endless days.

O, sing of mercy, grace profound,

For in His love, our hope is crowned.

In every grief and every tear,

He draws us close, His presence near.

So let the hearts of those who seek

Find solace in the words we speak,

For all who yearn, He never tires,

His justice kindles holy fires.

With every breath, in joy I cry,

To God who hears our humble sigh.

In trials faced, through storms we roam,

We find in Him our faithful home.

Nations shown His benevolence known,

We are only human in every situation grown.

For God alone is Ruler Supreme,

Salvation known our lifelong dream. Amen.
