Psalm 145 v-14 thru 21
14 The LORD supports all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. 15 The eyes of all look hopefully to you; you give them their food in due season. 16 You open wide your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. 17 The LORD is just in all his ways, merciful in all his works. 18 The LORD is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth. 19 He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. 20 The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he destroys. 21 My mouth will speak the praises of the LORD; all flesh will bless his holy name forever and ever.
Psalm 145:14-21 presents a profound reflection on God's character and His relationship with creation, emphasizing His compassion, righteousness, and the call for all to praise Him.
Verse 14 highlights God as a support for the vulnerable, stating, "The LORD upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down." This illustrates God's nurturing nature, showing that He cares for those who are struggling and offers them strength and restoration.
In verse 15, the psalmist acknowledges God's role as a provider: "The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season." This verse conveys the idea that all living beings depend on God for sustenance, underscoring His generosity and timing in meeting our needs.
Verse 16 continues this theme, stating, "You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing." This imagery of an open hand symbolizes God's abundant provision, emphasizing His willingness to bless His creation.
Verse 17 affirms God's righteousness and kindness: "The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His works." Here, the psalmist assures us of God's moral integrity and compassionate actions, reinforcing trust in His governance.
In verse 18, we find a promise of God's nearness: "The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." This verse encourages sincere prayer, indicating that God is accessible to those who seek Him earnestly.
Verses 19 and 20 highlight God's protection for the faithful and the consequences for the wicked. God fulfills the desires of those who revere Him and saves them, while the wicked face destruction.
Finally, verse 21 concludes with a call to praise: "My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever." This encapsulates the psalm's purpose—inviting all of creation to recognize and glorify God for His goodness and faithfulness. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20
08-24-2024 Psalm 145 V-1421
**Bless His Holy Name Forever**
In the tender hands of grace,
The weary find their place,
The Lord upholds the fallen soul,
And lifts the burden, makes them whole.
With eyes turned toward the skies,
All creatures seek, and He replies,
In season, He provides our need,
His open hand, a loving deed.
Each heart’s desire, He satisfies,
With kindness flowing, never dry,
Righteous in all His ways, we see,
A just and merciful decree.
To those who call with hearts sincere,
The Lord draws near, He bends to hear,
He saves the cries of those who fear,
His faithful love, forever near.
The wicked face the shadows' doom,
While love’s embrace dispels the gloom,
For those who walk in reverent grace,
His sheltering arms, a warm embrace.
So let my lips declare His praise,
In every moment, all my days,
Let every breath, both great and small,
Exalt His name, the Lord of all.
Forever let our voices raise,
In harmony, we lift our eternal praise,
For in His presence, we truly belong,
Our hearts will sing His endless song. Amen.
