Isaiah Chapter 26 V- 4 and 10
4 Trust in the LORD forever! For the LORD is an eternal Rock. 5 He humbles those who dwell on high, the lofty city he brings down, Brings it down to the ground, levels it to the dust. 6 The feet of the needy trample on it— the feet of the poor. 7 The way of the just is smooth; the path of the just you make level. 8 The course of your judgments, LORD, we await; your name and your memory are the desire of our souls. 9 My soul yearns for you at night, yes, my spirit within me seeks you at dawn; When your judgment comes upon the earth, the world’s inhabitants learn justice. 10 The wicked, when spared, do not learn justice; in an upright land they act perversely, and do not see the majesty of the LORD.
Isaiah 26:4-10 speaks profoundly about trust and security in the Lord. The verse, "Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock," resonates deeply with me, especially in the stillness of the night. There are moments when I awaken, perhaps overwhelmed by the worries of life, and instinctively call out His Name. In those midnight hours, I find a sanctuary in that sacred act—a reminder that I am living redeemed, cradled in His grace and mercy. The darkness transforms into a canvas of His steadfast love, and I feel anchored, knowing that my security lies not in worldly things, but in the everlasting arms of my Savior.
Similarly, my wife and soul mate in Christ, Toni, often finds herself awake during those quiet hours, battling restlessness. Her prayers rise like incense as she recites the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. The gentle sound of her fingers moving over the beads is comforting; it envelops the room in an atmosphere of peace. Each bead she claims becomes a testament to her faith, a rhythm that assures me of God's presence. Together, we create a sanctuary of prayer, where our hearts align in seeking the Lord’s guidance.
We find solace in knowing that even in the darkest hours, our Redeemer is with us. Toni’s devotion inspires me and draws us closer to Christ. As we lift our voices and prayers, I am reminded of the power of faith to dispel fear, and the beauty of sharing this journey with my beloved. In those moments, we are both comforted and strengthened, living testimonies of His love and grace. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20
12-05-2024 Isaiah 26 v0410
**In the Night's Embrace**
In shadows deep, when silence reigns,
I lift my heart amidst the pains.
“Trust in the Lord,” the Scripture calls,
An everlasting rock where my spirit falls.
With every breath, I claim His name,
A refuge found, forever the same.
In midnight’s grip, my worries cease,
For in His arms, I find my peace.
My beloved wakes, whispers in the dark,
Her prayers ascend, each word a spark.
The Rosary's rhythm, a soothing refrain,
Each bead a promise, a balm for the brain.
Mysteries unfold in the hush of the night,
She weaves her hopes, her faith shining bright.
Together we stand, in prayer we unite,
Trusting the Lord, our guiding light.
Though trials may come, and shadows loom,
We rest in the grace that dispels all gloom.
For He is our fortress, our steady refrain,
In the depths of despair, His love will sustain.
So I call on His name, my soul set free,
In the darkest hours, He’s all I need.
With my wife by my side, in faith we abide,
Forever secured in our Savior’s stride.
“Trust in the Lord,” the promise we hold,
A path of redemption, a story retold.
In the night’s embrace, our hearts intertwine,
Living redeemed, in love divine. Amen.
