The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 4 Verse 23 thru 25

23 He went around all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and curing every disease and illness among the people. 24 His fame spread to all of Syria, and they brought to him all who were sick with various diseases and racked with pain, those who were possessed, lunatics, and paralytics, and he cured them. 25 And great crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan followed him.

In Matthew 4:23-25, we witness the profound ministry of Jesus as He travels through Galilee, teaching in synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and affliction among the people. This passage beautifully illustrates not only the compassionate heart of Christ but also the transformative power of surrendering to His authority.

Those who gathered around Him were not merely spectators; they were individuals burdened with various ailments, both physical and emotional. Yet, the promise of restoration was abundantly clear—a promise that extends to us today.

When we profess our surrender to Jesus as our Savior, we are invited into a relationship that offers healing far beyond the physical. Our illnesses, pains, and the shame we carry from our past do not define us in Christ. His sacrifice on the cross offers us freedom and renewal. Just as the multitudes followed Jesus and experienced miraculous cures, we too can experience spiritual, emotional, and even physical healing through faith in Him.

Accepting Jesus means embracing the truth that we are not alone in our struggles. The weight of our burdens can be lifted, and the scars of our past can be transformed into testimonies of His grace. In surrendering to Him, we are made whole. It’s essential to remind ourselves that the same Jesus who healed the sick and restored the broken is alive today and actively working in the lives of those who seek Him.

So, dear reader, have faith and allow yourself to receive the healing that Jesus offers. No matter the depth of your pain, shame, or illness, in surrendering to Him, you too can experience complete restoration. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

01-05-2026 Matthew 4 v2325

**And He Cured Them**

In Galilee, where the mountains rise,

A healer walks beneath the skies,

With every step, the crowds do swell,

In hope and wonder from hearts compel.

He teaches truths, His voice so clear,

With parables that draw them ever so near;

The sick, the lost, in shadows dwell,

Yet find their light where He does dwell.

Heard in synagogues, His words unfold,

A tale of love, a message bold;

He cures the sick, the blind regain sight,

In His embrace, all find the light.

From every village, from shore to sea,

The multitudes come, yearning to be free;

A tapestry woven of hope and despair,

In His presence, all burdens laid bare.

So let us gather, like those of old,

With open hearts, and spirits bold;

For in His words, we find our place,

In the love and mercy of His eternal grace.

In Matthew's verses, a promise clear,

That in our brokenness, He draws us near;

To heal the world, to love, to mend,

In Christ, our Savior, we find our friend. Amen.
