The Gospel of Luke Chapter 11 v- One thru Four

1 He was praying in a certain place, and when he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.” 2 He said to them, “When you pray, say: Father, Hallowed be Your Name, Your Kingdom come. 3 Give us each day our daily bread 4 and forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us, and do not subject us to the final test.”

Do you remember when you learned the Lord’s Prayer? Who taught it to you? My wife repeats prayers to our grandson a lot and it was no different with me. My mom’s mother would ask us to recite the Lord’s Prayer and I was certainly willing to learn for $5 when she offered it to us one summer when I was probably around 10 years old. I can still hear her saying one day, “Learn this prayer and I’ll give you a new $5 bill.” This prayer will certainly sit with you forever and ever just as it has with me since that very day. Today I recite this prayer at least ten times during my waking hours searching for the Way and The Truth and The Light of Jesus Christ. Amen. Our Father’s Name we are told is Hallowed which means Sacred, Revered, Deified, Consecrated, Blessed, Sanctified and Holy! His Kingdom we are taught is to come for those who believe who keep the love, faith and hope of grace alive in their hearts. We ask God our Father to give us our daily bread for the nutrition of life’s survival knowing if we don’t forgive the sins of others God cannot forgive our sins our druthers. We must learn to forgive our debts as much as our hate and spite of others too for by following all these commands we find Life Eternal not subject to the final test for we have already gained mercy in our confession of Christ being our Lord and Savior our Only Redeemer living Redemption firsthand. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer. I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. Kairos 56. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Prayers for a friend and his wife for a baby to be born. Deacon Sam health and well-being. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Your sins forgiven by forgiving others for sure

No matter the cost
