The Book of Psalms Chapter 85 V- Nine thru Twelve

9 I will listen for what God, the LORD, has to say; surely he will speak of peace to his people and to his faithful. May they not turn to foolishness! 10 Near indeed is his Salvation for those who fear him; glory will dwell in our land. 11 Love and truth will meet; justice and peace will kiss. 12 Truth will spring from the earth; justice will look down from heaven.

Turning to listen to God is a profound journey, one that invites reflection, openness, and a willingness to embrace His wisdom. In Psalm 85:9-12, we find a beautiful reminder of how God speaks to us and the promise of His presence. The verses declare, "Surely his Salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land." This assurance encourages us to approach God with reverence, understanding that His grace and Salvation are always within reach.

When I seek to listen to God, I often begin with a quiet space, allowing the noise of the world to fade. In this stillness, I open my heart to hear His voice. The psalmist continues, "Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other." This imagery paints a picture of harmony in God's character, reminding me that listening to Him requires a balance of love and faithfulness in my own life. As I meditate on these qualities, I strive to align my heart with Christ, seeking to embody love and righteousness in my daily actions.

The concluding verses resonate deeply, stating, "The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest." This promise reassures me that when I listen to God and follow His guidance, I can trust that He will provide what I need. In turning my heart toward Him, I recognize that His wisdom leads to abundance, not just in material terms but in spiritual growth and peace.

In essence, turning to listen to God is an active choice rooted in faith, reverence, and a commitment to embody His love. By embracing this journey, I find myself transformed, guided by His truth and enriched by His presence in my life. Amen.

Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**Love and Truth Will Meet**

In stillness, Lord, we seek Your grace,

Your Salvation near, a warm embrace.

With reverence deep, our hearts align,

In faithfulness and love, Your light shall shine.

Where righteousness and peace entwine,

In every moment, Your glory divine.

The earth rejoices as we draw near,

In the whispers of joy, Your presence clear.

You promise good gifts, a harvest to sow,

In trusting hearts, Your blessings flow.

With every step, we feel Your hand,

Guiding our paths through this sacred land.

So let us listen, O hearts, be still,

For in Your love, we find our will.

In harmony, we walk the eternal way,

With You beside us, come what may. Amen.
