The Gospel of John Chapter 15 V- One and Seven

1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower. 2 He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and every one that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit. 3 You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. 4 Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. 6 Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you.”

John 15:1-7 beautifully encapsulates the essence of our relationship with Christ, my relationship with Christ, portraying Him as the true vine and us as the branches. Reflecting on my journey over the past 20 years, I remember the moment I fully surrendered to God’s Word. It was a profound turning point, filled with feelings of love, faith, and hope. As I delved into these verses, I felt an overwhelming assurance that I was not just a follower but a cherished part of something greater—One with Christ.

The imagery of the vine and branches speaks to me deeply. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit by itself, I realize that my strength lies in my connection to Him. This connection fuels my faith and empowers me to navigate life’s challenges. His words resonate within me: “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want, and it will be done for you.” This promise of answered prayers has been a constant source of encouragement.

In moments of uncertainty, I call upon Him to reveal His will in my life. I have learned that true surrender means trusting in His timing and understanding. As I have walked with Him, I have witnessed His faithfulness time and again. The desires of my heart have aligned with His, and I find joy in seeking Him first.

Living out these verses has transformed my life, shifting my perspective from self-reliance to dependence on His grace. Each day, I strive to abide in Him, allowing His love to flow through me, bearing fruit that reflects His goodness. In this beautiful dance of surrender, I find my purpose and fulfillment, anchored in His eternal promises. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

11-14-2024 John 15 v0107

**I Am the True Vine Remain in Me**

In the garden where love entwines,

The True Vine whispers, "You are mine."

Branches reaching, hearts aglow,

In His presence, we find our flow.

With roots that dig in faith’s embrace,

We flourish here in boundless grace.

Surrendered hearts, we seek His will,

In every moment, our spirits still.

“I am the vine,” He gently speaks,

In every trial, His comfort peaks.

“Remain in me, and I in you,

Together, our bond will always be true.”

The fruit we bear, a testament clear,

Of love and hope that cast out fear.

When prayers arise, we ask, we seek,

In His sweet presence, we grow unique.

For every yearning, His promise stands,

To fulfill our dreams with loving hands.

In unity, our spirits eternally soar,

Connected to Him, for evermore.

So let us abide, let our hearts align,

In the sacred dance of the vine divine.

With each breath drawn, in joy we sing,

Forever cherished, we serve our King. Amen.
