The Gospel of Luke Chapter 1 V- 45 through 49

45 (Elizabeth her cousin said,) “Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled.” 46 And Mary said: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; 47 my spirit rejoices in God my savior. 48 For he has looked upon his handmaid’s lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed. 49 The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.”

In Luke 1:45-49, we find Mary’s profound response to her miraculous pregnancy, praising God for His faithfulness and mercy. In these verses, she declares, “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.” Mary exemplifies a remarkable belief in God’s word, contrasting sharply with the challenges faced by the Lord’s disciples during His earthly ministry.

While Mary's faith was immediate and unwavering, the disciples often struggled with doubt and misunderstanding. They witnessed Jesus’ miracles yet frequently questioned His identity and mission. For instance, in the storm on the Sea of Galilee, they feared for their lives despite being in the presence of the Savior (Mark 4:38-40). Mary, however, received the angel Gabriel's message with an open heart, saying, “I am the Lord’s servant. May your word to me be fulfilled” (Luke 1:38). Her belief was not just passive acceptance; it was an active, courageous surrender to God's plan, emphasizing a deep trust in His promises.

Mary's faith serves as an inspiring model for us today. In a world filled with uncertainties and challenges, her example shows us that true belief requires surrendering our own understanding and embracing God’s divine purpose. Just as Mary believed without fully grasping the implications of her calling, we, too, can cultivate a faith that trusts in God’s plans for our lives.

In conclusion, you can possess the same belief as Mary. By surrendering your doubts and fears, you can live in union with Him, embracing a relationship that transforms your life. Like Mary, let your heart respond to God’s promises with unwavering faith seeking her intersession as absolute truth. Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with the blessed heart thou amongst women and blessed. It is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God pray for us sinners now and that the hour of our death. Amen.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**My Spirit Rejoices in God My Savior**

In a quiet moment, the angel spoke,

To a humble maiden, in faith she awoke.

“Blessed are you, Mary, for you have believed,

In the promise of God, your heart has received.

“Blessed is she who holds fast to His word,

In the silence of doubt, her faith is not blurred.

With spirit so open, she welcomes the call,

For the Lord’s mighty hand will cradle us all.

From the depths of her soul, a song would arise,

Praising the Giver, who opens the skies.

“My soul magnifies Him, my heart sings His praise,

For His mercy and love will always fill my days.”

Through trials and shadows, her faith would not wane,

Where the world saw a burden, she saw grace’s reign.

In the echo of ages, her story unfolds,

Of a mother’s belief, more precious than gold.

So let us embrace, like Mary, the light,

In the face of our fears, His promise is bright.

For even in darkness, His love will be near,

With faith like a beacon, we need never fear.

Oh, blessed are those who trust in His ways,

For the Lord’s faithful heart guides us through our days.

With surrender and hope, let our spirits align,

In union with Him, our hearts in Salvation we find. Amen.
