The Gospel of John Chapter One V- 29 through 34

29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. 30 He is the one of whom I said, ‘A man is coming after me who ranks ahead of me because he existed before me.’ 31 I did not know him,* but the reason why I came baptizing with water was that he might be made known to Israel.” 32 John testified further, saying, “I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from the sky and remain upon him.33 I did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain, he is the one who will baptize with the holy Spirit.’ 34 Now I have seen and testified that he is the Son of God.”

In John 1:29-34, we encounter a powerful moment where John the Baptist recognizes Jesus as the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. This proclamation is not merely a declaration but a testimony of profound significance. John, filled with the Holy Spirit, bears witness to Jesus’ divine authority and mission, emphasizing that Jesus is the fulfillment of God's promise to redeem humanity. He acknowledges not only Jesus' identity but also his own role as a precursor to Christ, highlighting the importance of recognizing and testifying to the truth of the Gospel.

As we reflect on this passage, we are reminded that we too can bear witness to the transformative power of Christ in our lives. Each day presents us with the opportunity to surrender to His Gospel by allowing His teachings to guide our actions, thoughts, and prayers. By practicing faith, engaging in prayer, and proclaiming His message, we become Spirit-led, God-inspired, and Christ-fed individuals.

In our daily lives, we can testify to the presence of the Son of Man through acts of love, kindness, and service. When we share our experiences of grace and redemption, we contribute to the ongoing story of the Gospel. Our surrender is not a one-time event; it is a continual process of yielding to the Holy Spirit, allowing God's work to manifest in and through us.

May we strive to embody the essence of what it means to be a follower of Christ. As we practice our faith, pray fervently, and proclaim His truth, let us remember that we, like John the Baptist, are called to testify to what we have seen and experienced in our journey with the Lord becomes an existence of Life Eternal. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

01-03-2025 John 1 v2934

**I have seen and testify that He is the Son of God**

In the stillness of the dawn, a voice did rise,

John stood by the river, with piercing eyes.

“Behold the Lamb!” he cried, with a fervent heart,

The One who takes our sins, a brand-new start.

With waters flowing, a symbol of grace,

He pointed to Jesus, the world's saving face.

“Among you stands Him, whom you do not know,

The Spirit revealed Him, in radiant glow.”

He came to baptize, yet humbled his role,

“I am but a witness, a messenger's soul.

The One who sent me spoke clear and bright,

‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descend in light.’”

And there by the waters, the heavens did part,

The Spirit like a dove, descending to impart.

A voice from the heavens, “This is my Son,

In Him, my delight, the Savior, the One.”

Oh, let us remember this sacred decree,

To testify daily, for all who will see.

With hearts fully surrendered, let our lives blend,

In practice, in prayer, may our voices extend.

For each day we walk in His love and embrace,

We share in the story of mercy and grace.

So behold the Lamb, let our praises ascend,

In Spirit-led living, our lives we’ll commend. Amen.
