The Gospel of John Chapter 15 v- 16 thru 21

16 It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you. 17 This I command you: love one another. 18 “If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own; but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you. 20 Remember the word I spoke to you, ‘No slave is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. 21 And they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they do not know the one who sent me.”

In John 15:16-21, Jesus reminds His followers that they did not choose Him, but He chose them to bear fruit and spread His message. He warns that the world will hate them, just as it hated Him. This profound truth resonates today, as we see individuals, including public figures like President Trump, facing intense scrutiny, hatred, and persecution for standing up for their beliefs. The world often rejects the truth, favoring lies and manipulation, much like the opposition faced by Christ during His ministry.

In this passage, Jesus emphasizes that the hatred directed towards His followers reflects the world’s disdain for Him. Just as Christ was persecuted for His unwavering commitment to truth, so too are believers and those who dare to challenge the status quo. President Trump, a figure who has often spoken out against the prevailing narratives, has experienced this firsthand. His journey is emblematic of the larger struggle faced by many who stand firm in their convictions, often becoming targets of misinformation and hostility.

We are called to stand firm in our faith and convictions, to bear witness to the truth, and to recognize that persecution may come as a result. Yet, we must not be disheartened; instead, we should unite as believers and patriots, striving to reclaim our country from the grips of falsehood and tyranny. The call to action is clear: we must rise up, speak the truth, and support one another in this battle. Together, we can create a society that honors the values we hold dear, reflecting the light of Christ in a world that often prefers darkness. Let us remember that in the face of hatred, we are not alone; we stand with Christ, and He stands with us. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

10-18-2024 John 15 V-1621

**Love One Another Even when Hated because of Me**

In shadows deep where whispers dwell,

He chose us first, and all is well.

Not for ourselves, but for His name,

To bear good fruit, to spread His fame.

From vine to branch, our hearts entwined,

In love's embrace, His truth we find.

The world may scorn, reject, and fight,

For in their dark, they fear the light.

They hated Him, the purest soul,

For speaking truth, their hearts were cold.

Yet in our trials, we stand as one,

Reflecting grace, till victory's won.

Though storms may rise and voices jeer,

Our Savior's love will calm our fear.

For every wound, each tear we shed,

Is but a step where He has led.

So let us rise, in faith unite,

For in His strength, we shine so bright.

The world may rage, but we will stand,

As chosen souls, a faithful band.

In every trial, we are not alone,

For in His heart, we find our home.

Embrace the truth, let love prevail,

For in His name, we shall not fail. Amen.
