The First Letter to the Corinthians 2 V- 16 and 21

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God, which you are, is holy. 18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you considers himself wise in this age, let him become a fool so as to become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the eyes of God, for it is written: “He catches the wise in their own ruses,” 20 and again: “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.” 21 So let no one boast about human beings, for everything belongs to you.”

In 1 Corinthians 2:16-23, the Apostle Paul emphasizes the profound wisdom and insight bestowed upon believers through the Holy Spirit. He articulates that, as Christians, we are endowed with the mind of Christ, enabling us to discern spiritual truths that transcend worldly understanding. This notion resonates deeply with anyone who has experienced a transformative encounter with God, much like the experience I describe upon surrendering to Christ.

When I received a divine calling to be a “Teacher of God’s Children,” it was a pivotal moment that reflects the essence of Paul’s teaching. God’s Spirit not only reveals His truths but also equips us to share those truths with others. The realization that my body is a temple of the Lord aligns with Paul's message about living righteously and avoiding excess. This revelation calls for a sacred stewardship of our physical and spiritual selves, urging us to honor God in every aspect of our lives.

The transformation I embraced—stepping away from harmful habits and embracing a life of righteousness—echoes the very essence of Christian discipleship. It underscores the importance of aligning our lives with God's will and purpose, which is central to Paul’s teachings. By living in accordance with His Truth, we become vessels of His love and wisdom, capable of impacting the lives of those around us.

In essence, your journey reflects the core message of 1 Corinthians 2:16-23: that through the Holy Spirit, we are granted the understanding and strength to live out our calling. My commitment to teaching God’s children becomes a powerful testament to the transformative power of surrendering to Christ and living as a true disciple, embodying the righteousness and truth that He desires for all His followers. Amen.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. **Foolishness in the Eyes of God**

In shadows deep where knowledge fades,

The Spirit whispers, truth invades,

For who can know the mind divine,

But those who seek in love to shine?

With hearts aflame, we find our way,

In Christ’s own thoughts, we choose to stay,

No longer bound by earthly chains,

In righteousness, our joy remains.

Temples of grace, our bodies stand,

Each moment held within His hand,

Abandoning the chains of vice,

We rise anew, a holy sacrifice.

He guides our steps, we learn to teach,

With every word, His love we preach,

To children’s hearts, His truth we share,

A gift of wisdom, pure and rare.

For eye has not seen and ear has not heard,

The wonders of His living Word,

Yet in our souls, His secrets dwell,

A story of grace we long to tell.

So let us walk in light profound,

In every heart, His love abound,

For in His wisdom, we are free,

The mind of Christ, our destiny. Amen.
