The Book of Revelation Chapter 12 V- One through Nine
1 A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 2 She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems. 4 Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth. 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was caught up to God and his throne. 6 The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God, that there she might be taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty days. 7 Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. The dragon and its angels fought back, 8 but they did not prevail and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 9 The huge dragon, the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world, was thrown down to earth, and its angels were thrown down with it.
Revelation 12:1-9 presents a powerful vision of a woman clothed with the sun, standing against a backdrop of cosmic conflict. This woman, often interpreted as a symbol of the Church and the Virgin Mary, gives birth to a male child destined to rule all nations. The imagery of the dragon, representing evil and opposition, highlights the spiritual battle between good and evil. This passage resonates deeply with the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe, who has become a pivotal figure in the spiritual landscape of Mexico and is celebrated by the Church with her own Feast Day today.
In December 1531, the Virgin Mary appeared to Juan Diego, a humble indigenous man, on the hill of Tepeyac. Her message was one of compassion and hope, urging the people of Mexico to turn back to God. The miraculous image of Our Lady that appeared on Juan Diego's tilma became a symbol of divine love and maternal intercession. This encounter not only led to the conversion of thousands of indigenous people but also fostered a unique blend of faith and culture that shaped the identity of Mexico.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is now revered as the Patroness of the Americas, and her influence continues to inspire devotion and prayer among millions. Her image serves as a reminder of God's presence in times of struggle and a source of comfort for those seeking intercession. People turn to her in prayer, asking her to present their petitions to her Son, Jesus, trusting in her loving guidance.
The impact of Our Lady of Guadalupe transcends borders; she embodies hope, healing, and unity. In a world often marked by division and uncertainty, her message remains a beacon of faith, calling believers to embrace the power of prayer and the love of Christ. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20
12-12-2024 Revelation 12 v0109
**She Gave Birth to a Son**
In the heavens, a wonder unfolds,
A woman adorned in light, so bold,
Clothed with the sun, her glory displayed,
The moon at her feet, in brilliance arrayed.
With a crown of twelve stars, she stands tall,
A mother of promise, a beacon for all.
In labor she cries, a world waits to see,
The Child destined for all, for you and for me.
But lo! In the shadows, a dragon does wait,
With fury and wrath, he seeks to create
A tempest of chaos, to silence the birth,
Yet heavenly forces protect from the dearth.
The Child is delivered, the victory won,
He ascends to the throne, God’s own Holy Son.
The dragon is thwarted, cast from the skies,
Defeated in darkness, his power defies.
Rejoice in the promise, for hope is restored,
The woman, the Church, in faith is adored.
In trials and struggles, she stands as our guide,
Mother of mercy, our refuge, our pride.
O Lady of Guadalupe, hear our plea,
As we lift our voices, to heaven set free.
In your loving arms, may our prayers take flight,
To Jesus, our Savior, our joy and our light. Amen.
