The Book of Psalms Chapter 27 V- Seven through Nine

7 Hear my voice, LORD, when I call; have mercy on me and answer me. 8 “Come,” says my heart, “seek his face”; your face, LORD, do I seek! 9 Do not hide your face from me; do not repel your servant in anger. You are my salvation; do not cast me off; do not forsake me, God my savior!

Psalm 27:7-9 resonates deeply with the heart of a believer yearning for connection with the Lord. The psalmist calls out, “Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; be gracious to me and answer me!” This plea underscores the importance of constant communication with God, inviting us to recognize that our relationship with Him is not a one-time event but an ongoing dialogue. In the hustle of daily life, it’s easy to forget the power of this practice. Yet, when we surrender ourselves to God, we can discover a profound passion, purpose and peace that guides every decision we make.

These verses remind us that calling on the Lord is a source of strength amid uncertainty. In our moments of dread, doubt, or despair, we must persistently seek His presence. The psalmist's longing for God reflects our own need for reassurance; when we cry out to Him, we open the door to blessings that far exceed our expectations. “Do not hide your face from me,” the psalmist implores, highlighting the desire for intimacy with our Creator.

As we cultivate this habit of prayer and surrender, we begin to experience the grace that overcomes all fears, foes, and famine. Each call to the Lord is met with His unwavering love and support, reminding us that we are never alone in our struggles. In unity with Jesus, our Savior, we find joy and strength, even in the most challenging times.

So, let us make calling upon the Lord a constant practice in our lives. As we do, we will rejoice in His blessings, embracing the peace and purpose that come from being One with Him. †Spirit led God inspired Christ fed†® Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

12-06-2024 Psalm 27 v0709

**Do Not Hide Your Face from Me Lord**

In the stillness, Lord, I cry,

Hear my voice, O God on high.

Gracious Savior, heed my plea,

In Your presence, set me free.

When the shadows loom and fade,

Hide not Your face, I’ll be not afraid.

With every whisper, draw me near,

In Your love, I find no fear.

Though foes may rise and doubts may swell,

In Your arms, I’ll ever dwell.

Strength and courage, You bestow,

In Your light, my spirit grows.

O Lord, my heart is set on You,

In every trial, my faith renew.

With each decision, guide my way,

In Your grace, I choose to stay.

So I call upon Your name,

Trusting in Your love the same.

Blessings flow like rivers wide,

With You, dear Savior, I abide. Amen.
