The 2nd Letter to the Corinthians 6 Verses One thru Ten

1 “Working together, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For he says: “In an acceptable time I heard you, and on the day of salvation, I helped you.” Behold, now is a very acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 3 We cause no one to stumble in anything, in order that no fault may be found with our ministry; 4 on the contrary, in everything we commend ourselves as ministers of God, through much endurance, in afflictions, hardships, constraints, 5 beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, vigils, fasts; 6 by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, in a holy spirit, in unfeigned love, 7 in truthful speech, in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness at the right and at the left; 8 through glory and dishonor, insult and praise. We are treated as deceivers and yet are truthful; 9 as unrecognized and yet acknowledged; as dying and behold we live; as chastised and yet not put to death; 10 as sorrowful yet always rejoicing; as poor yet enriching many; as having nothing and yet possessing all things.”

In 2 Corinthians 6:1-10, the Apostle Paul addresses the role of ministers in the context of spreading the Gospel and the challenges that come with faithful service. He begins with a call to unity and urgency, reminding the Corinthians that they are co-workers with God. This powerful partnership emphasizes the importance of collaboration in the mission to share the love of Christ and bring souls into His Kingdom.

Paul highlights the need for perseverance amidst trials, illustrating that the path of ministry is often fraught with struggles, including hardships, conflicts, and even persecution. Yet, he portrays these adversities as opportunities to demonstrate the power of God. Through everything, he teaches us that our response in faith can turn suffering into a testimony of hope, revealing the transformative nature of the Gospel.

The characteristics Paul describes—purity, understanding, patience, kindness, and the Holy Spirit—serve as essential traits for any minister or believer committed to sharing the Gospel. These virtues not only strengthen the messenger but also create a compelling witness to those who encounter the message. It’s a reminder that effectiveness in ministry comes from embodying the very qualities of Christ.

Additionally, Paul illustrates the paradox of Christian life: being sorrowful yet always rejoicing, poor yet enriching many. This duality captures the essence of the Gospel’s impact—not in material wealth or earthly success but in spiritual riches that transcend worldly measures.

Ultimately, 2 Corinthians 6:1-10 calls every minister of the Gospel to embrace their identity with authenticity and courage, inspiring us to continue laboring for the Kingdom. As we share this transformative message, let us strive to be vessels of grace, eager to reap souls for Christ, assured that our labor is not in vain. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

06-17-25 2 Corinthians 6 v0110

**As Poor Yet Enriching Many**

In partnership with God, we stand today,

Ministers of grace, proclaiming His way.

With open hearts, we share the Good News,

Reaching lost souls, with nothing to lose.

Through trials and storms, we obliterate fear,

For in every struggle, His love draws us near.

Endurance in pain, with patience we strive,

In kindness and purity, our spirits alive.

In hunger and toil, we still choose to sing,

For joy in our hearts is an eternal wellspring.

Sorrow may linger, yet joy remains,

For in Christ's embrace, we're free from chains.

With Holy Spirit guiding, we walk in light,

In darkest of nights, He makes burdens light.

We clash with the world, yet find strength anew,

As we rise to our call, through His power we grew.

Though seen as foolish, despised and alone,

It's the love we share that makes our hearts known.

In riches of faith, we hold treasures divine,

For the Kingdom is ours, it’s His glory we shine.

So let us unite, bearing witness so true,

In every encounter, let grace flow through you.

In the harvest of souls, our mission’s fulfilled,

With hope as our anchor, God’s purpose instilled. Amen.
