The Letter to the Hebrews Chapter 10 V- 31 and 39
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. 32 Remember the days past when, after you had been enlightened, you endured a great contest of suffering. 33 At times you were publicly exposed to abuse and affliction; at other times you associated yourselves with those so treated. 34 You even joined in the sufferings of those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, knowing that you had a better and lasting possession. 35 Therefore, do not throw away your confidence; it will have great recompense. 36 You need endurance to do the will of God and receive what he has promised. 37 “For, after just a brief moment, he who is to come shall come; he shall not delay. 38 But my just one shall live by faith, and if he draws back I take no pleasure in him.” 39 We are not among those who draw back and perish, but among those who have faith and will possess life.
Hebrews 10:31-39 reminds us of the profound seriousness of our relationship with God. The verses highlight that it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God, emphasizing the weight of our choices and the importance of faithfulness in our walk with Him. As believers, we are called to endure, to persevere through trials and challenges, holding fast to our faith and the promises of God.
Endurance in our spiritual journey is cultivated through daily engagement with Scripture. When we immerse ourselves in the Bible, we equip ourselves with the truth and wisdom that guide our thoughts and actions. Meditating on God’s Word throughout the day allows us to keep our hearts and minds focused on Him, reinforcing our resilience against life's difficulties. Each verse we memorize and each truth we meditate upon becomes a source of strength, reminding us of God’s faithfulness.
Calling on the Lord in a perpetual way fosters a continuous connection with Him, creating a lifestyle of prayer and reliance. When we approach each moment with the awareness of His presence, we find peace in the chaos and forgiveness for our shortcomings. Living unceasingly in Him means acknowledging His sovereignty in every aspect of our lives, giving Him due honor in all we do.
As we endure, we are encouraged by the promise that God is faithful to those who seek Him. Our hope is not in ourselves but in the One who has called us. Embrace the journey of faith with diligence, knowing that true peace and forgiveness are found in the embrace of His Word and presence. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. The Soul of my sister-in-law Carmen. Death Uncle Donald. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**You Need Endurance to do the Will of God**
In awe we stand, before the throne,
For it is fearsome to fall alone,
Into the hands of the living God,
Where mercy meets justice, where grace is trod.
The call to endure, through trials we face,
With faith as our anchor, in His eternal embrace,
We hold to the promise, unwavering and bright,
For He is our refuge, our strength and our light.
Let us not waver, nor drift from His way,
For the just shall live by faith, come what may,
In Scripture we find our hearts aligned,
In daily devotion, His peace we find.
Meditate deeply, let His Word take root,
In every moment, let our spirits suit,
Calling on Him, in joy or despair,
He walks beside us, His love everywhere.
So let us press on, with courage anew,
With eyes set on Jesus, our hope ever true,
For in the endurance, our souls will be free,
In the heart of His promise, we find victory. Amen.
