The Gospel of Luke Chapter 23 v- 42 thru 43

42 Then (The Crucified Thief) said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into Your Kingdom.” 43 He replied to (the thief), “Amen, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Do you believe in a thief crucified paradise? Can those who arrive late for the days’ work still get paid for the whole day? Seems unfair but it is the Way of Salvation. Love overcomes all faults wiping them clean for the Truth of goodwill. It seems so simple yet suffering becomes a joy of living His Will in every situation calling upon the Lord First God First we say here in our home proclaiming Christ the Crucified as the only Divine Meal offered in every location across the world.

Jesus, being crucified alongside two criminals, heard the plea of one of the thieves who recognized Him as the Son of God. This thief, known as the Crucified Thief or the Good Thief, acknowledged his own guilt and the just punishment he was receiving for his crimes. However, in a moment of humility and faith, he turned to Jesus and asked for forgiveness and remembrance in His Kingdom.

In response, Jesus, filled with compassion and love, assured the thief that he would indeed be remembered. He said, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise." With these words, Jesus not only granted the thief forgiveness but also promised him a place in His eternal Kingdom.

This interaction between Jesus and the Crucified Thief holds profound significance. It demonstrates the power of genuine repentance and faith, even in the face of imminent death. The thief, recognizing his own sinfulness and the righteousness of Jesus, placed his trust in Him and sought His mercy. In return, Jesus, who came to save the lost and offer redemption to all who believe, granted him forgiveness and the assurance of eternal life.

The Crucified Thief's request and Jesus' response exemplify the transformative nature of grace and the boundless love and mercy of God. It teaches us that, no matter how far we have strayed or how grave our sins may be, there is always a chance for redemption and reconciliation with God. It reminds us that salvation is not dependent on our past actions or merits but on our willingness to turn to Jesus in genuine repentance and faith.

The Crucified Thief serves as an example for all of us, showing that it is never too late to seek forgiveness and embrace the salvation offered by Jesus. His story reminds us that, no matter how dire our circumstances may seem, there is always hope in the grace of God. It encourages us to approach Jesus with humility, acknowledging our need for His mercy and trusting in His power to save.

Ultimately, the Crucified Thief's plea for remembrance and forgiveness from Jesus serves as a testament to the transformative power of faith and the boundless love and mercy of our Savior. It reminds us that, through Christ, we can find forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Amen.
