The Book of Isaiah Chapter 33 V- 21 through 22

21 Indeed the LORD in majesty will be there for us a place of rivers and wide streams on which no galley may go, where no majestic ship may pass. 22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he it is who will save us.

In Isaiah 33:21-23, the prophet paints a vivid picture of the protection and security that God provides to Zion, often interpreted as the New Jerusalem. The verses emphasize that the Lord will be present in Zion, symbolizing His divine protection and guidance. The imagery of a majestic river and a secure dwelling reflects the peace and abundance that comes from God's presence. Isaiah asserts that, despite external threats, those who dwell in God's city will find safety and stability and no outside ruler will infiltrate the divine city. The assurance of God's unwavering support is a powerful reminder that true peace is rooted in faith and reliance on the Divine.

In my own life, I have come to realize that surrendering to the Lord Jesus in every aspect is the key to experiencing this profound sense of protection. Just as Zion is safeguarded by God's presence, I find solace in allowing Jesus to guide my decisions, relationships, and daily challenges. This surrender is not a sign of weakness but an acknowledgment of my need for His strength and wisdom. When I release my worries and fears into His hands, I experience a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Living in this state of surrender transforms my perspective. It allows me to navigate life's rivers of uncertainties with confidence, knowing that I am under the shelter of His wings in a vessel that will never sink. In moments of doubt or distress, I remember Isaiah’s assurance of protection and find my heart at rest. True peace comes not from external circumstances but from the internal assurance that I am held by a loving Savior who protects me in the water, in the air and on the land of truth. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20

12-07-2024 Isaiah 33 v2123

**The Lord is Who Will Save Us**

In Zion, where the waters flow,

A promise stands, a truth we know,

The Lord, our refuge, strong and near,

In His embrace, we cast out fear.

A river bright, its currents grace,

Through every trial, His love we trace,

No foe shall breach this sacred ground,

In His protection, peace is found.

The banners wave, the hearts unite,

In faith we stand, we walk in light,

For though the world may shake and sway,

In Him, our hope shall never fray.

His mighty hand, a guiding force,

In every storm, He charts the course,

With every step, His presence near,

In surrender, we find our cheer.

Oh, Zion! City of the King,

In joy and trust, our voices sing,

For in His arms, we dwell secure,

In Christ alone, our hearts endure.

Amen, we whisper, as shadows flee,

In surrender, Lord, we’re truly free,

Like rivers flowing, His love bestowed,

In peace, we walk the promised road. Amen.
