The Letter of Jeremiah Chapter 33 V- 14 and 16
14 The days are coming—oracle of the LORD—when I will fulfill the promise I made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. 15 In those days, at that time, I will make a just shoot spring up for David; he shall do what is right and just in the land. 16 In those days Judah shall be saved and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; this is the name they shall call her: “The LORD our justice.”
In Jeremiah 33:14-16, the prophet speaks of a time when God will fulfill His promises to His people, bringing about a new era of hope and restoration. These verses highlight the coming of a righteous Branch from David's lineage, one who will execute justice and righteousness in the land. This prophetic message points directly to Jesus Christ, the Messiah, who embodies the fulfillment of God's covenant with His people.
Jeremiah writes, “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah.” This promise culminates in Jesus, whose very name means “The Lord saves.” Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus became our ultimate source of justice, reconciling humanity with God. He is the embodiment of peace, as Isaiah prophesies, calling Him the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
In Jesus, we see the realization of Jeremiah’s vision—a world where justice prevails and peace reigns. As believers, we are reminded that despite the chaos and injustice often seen in this world, our Lord is actively working to restore all things. His reign as King brings hope to the hopeless, healing to the broken, and justice to the oppressed.
As we reflect on these verses, let us rejoice in the assurance that God’s promises are always fulfilled. Our Lord Jesus is not only our Savior but also the One who will establish a kingdom of peace and righteousness for everyone. May we trust in His plan and actively participate in spreading His message of love and justice in our world today. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**The Lord our Justice**
In the days to come, a promise unfolds,
A whisper of hope in the ages of old.
From David’s line, a Branch will arise,
A beacon of justice beneath the vast skies.
“Behold,” says the Lord, “I will bring forth,
A righteous One, to show you true worth.
In Him, your hearts will find their rest,
In His grace and mercy, you’ll be truly blessed.”
He walks in the light of justice divine,
In every heart, His love will entwine.
Peace like a river will flow from His reign,
In the kingdom of grace, no sorrow or pain.
O, Jesus, our Savior, our hope, and our song,
In You, we find where we truly belong.
You come to restore, to heal and to save,
In the depths of our darkness, You are our brave.
So let us proclaim, with joy and with cheer,
The promise fulfilled, for our hearts draw near.
In a world longing for justice and peace,
Through You, our Lord, all strife will cease.
Jeremiah’s words echo through time,
A vision of love, so pure and sublime.
With each passing day, may we see Your face,
In the life that we live, may we share Your grace. Amen.
