The Book of Psalms Chapter 119 v- 41 thru 43
41 Let your mercy come to me, LORD, Salvation in accord with your promise. 42 Let me answer my taunters with a word, for I trust in your word. 43 Do not take the word of truth from my mouth, for in your judgments is my hope.
Psalm 119:41-43 is a poignant expression of the psalmist's deep longing for God’s mercy and truth. In these verses, the psalmist pleads for the Lord’s steadfast love and Salvation to be poured out upon him, emphasizing the importance of divine grace in his life. The verses encapsulate a theme prevalent throughout the psalm: the believer's dependence on God’s word as a source of comfort, guidance, and strength.
In verse 41, the psalmist requests that God’s mercies come to him, illustrating a heartfelt desire for a relationship characterized by compassion and kindness. This acknowledgment of human vulnerability highlights the need for divine intervention; it reflects a recognition that true fulfillment and hope come from God alone. The use of the word “Salvation” indicates not only a physical deliverance but also a spiritual renewal, underscoring the holistic nature of the psalmist’s plea.
Verse 42 continues this theme by stating that the psalmist will have an answer for those who taunt him, affirming a confidence rooted in God’s promises. This assurance serves as a reminder that the believer’s identity and worth are anchored in God’s truth, which stands in stark contrast to the doubts and challenges posed by the world.
Finally, verse 43 reinforces the psalmist’s commitment to God’s word. The insistence that God’s truth must not be taken away from him signifies an understanding that divine revelation is essential for living a righteous life. The verses collectively reflect a deep yearning for divine grace and truth, portraying the psalmist as someone who seeks not only personal Salvation but also the strength to withstand external pressures through the unwavering support of God’s promises. Together, they encapsulate the essence of faith as a journey marked by reliance on divine mercy and unwavering truth. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20
10-15-2024 Psalm 119 V-4143
**Salvation in Accord with His Promise**
In shadows deep, O Lord, I call,
Your mercy, let it gently fall,
Upon my heart, a healing stream,
In grace and love, fulfill my dream.
Your words, a lamp that lights my way,
In trials fierce, they guide each day,
With steadfast hope, my soul shall rise,
In truth, I find my refuge, wise.
When mockers sneer and doubts arise,
In Your promises, my heart confides,
For in Your love, I stand secure,
In faith, my path remains so pure.
O grant me strength, Your truth to share,
With every breath, I know You care,
Let not Your words from me depart,
For in them lies my steadfast heart.
So let Your mercy flow like rain,
And wash away my every pain,
In Your embrace, I’ll find my song,
With You, O Lord, I will belong. Amen.
