The Letter to the Romans Chapter 8 Verse 28 thru 35
28 We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those he predestined he also called; and those he called he also justified; and those he justified he also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but handed him over for us all, how will he not also give us everything else along with him? 33 Who will bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who acquits us. 34 Who will condemn? It is Christ [Jesus] who died, rather, was raised, who also is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us. 35 What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword?
Romans 8:28-35 offers profound reassurance and comfort for believers, asserting the sovereignty of God in our lives. It states that "all things work together for good to those who love God," reminding us that even in life's most challenging moments, God has a divine purpose at play. This scripture emphasizes that hardships, including anguish, distress, persecution, and peril, are not without meaning. They are part of God’s plan to ultimately shape us into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.
In verses 31-32, we are reminded of the immense love God has for us: "If God is for us, who can be against us?" This rhetorical question powerfully highlights God’s commitment to our well-being. Moreover, it points to the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus, who was given for our sakes. Jesus not only redeemed us but also serves as our intercessor. His role as our advocate means that even when we face trials, we have someone who pleads our case before the Father, assuring us of His ceaseless love and support.
In light of this, believers can find solace knowing that Jesus' intercession protects and empowers us. Our faith in Him reassures us that we are shielded from the despair that can accompany life's tribulations. While we may experience temporary suffering, we are never abandoned or forsaken. The love of Christ transcends any hardship we may confront, affirming that nothing—neither death, nor life, nor anything else—can separate us from His love.
Therefore, let us hold fast to our belief, trusting that God has a plan for us, and through Jesus, we are assured of His guiding presence, even in the darkest valleys. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**What Will Separate Us From the Love of Christ?**
In all things, God works for the good,
For those who love, as He always would.
Through trials and storms, His hand is near,
In anguish and sorrow, we need not fear.
When distress surrounds and shadows loom,
His light shines bright, dispelling the gloom.
Though persecution may seek to confine,
We stand strong in faith, for His love is divine.
Lifted by grace, in Christ we find peace,
His intercession grants us eternal release.
No force in this world can sever the bond,
For in every struggle, we rise and respond.
If God is for us, who can withstand?
Our Savior fights for us, by His own Divine hand.
With hearts anchored deep in His endless care,
In perilous times, His presence is there.
Not death, nor life, nor angels, nor fate,
Can keep us from love, for it’s never too late.
In the depths of despair, we cling to His name,
For the power of love forever remains.
So let us rejoice, in hope we will trust,
For in every moment, He’s faithful and just.
With Romans as promise, let our hearts soar,
In the arms of our Savior, we find evermore. Amen.
