The Book of Psalms Chapter 105 v- 20 thru 22
20 The king sent and released him; the ruler of peoples set him free. 21 He made him lord over his household, ruler over all his possessions, 22 To instruct his princes as he desired, to teach his elders wisdom.
Psalm 105:20-22 recounts the story of Joseph, highlighting his journey from being imprisoned to becoming a ruler in Egypt. These verses illustrate how Joseph, despite his trials, was divinely appointed to interpret dreams and guide the nation through famine. This narrative reflects the overarching theme of Salvation and divine purpose, echoing the transformative power of God’s grace.
In many ways, Joseph's experience mirrors our own journey toward Salvation through the King of Kings. Just as Joseph faced adversity and ultimately received favor from Pharaoh, we too encounter life's challenges that lead us to a deeper understanding of our need for Salvation. When we surrender to God, acknowledging our shortcomings, we open ourselves to the transformative power of His grace, much like Joseph, who was elevated from a pit of despair to a position of authority.
Furthermore, Joseph’s wisdom, gained through his trials and relationship with God, illustrates the importance of engaging with the Word of God. As Joseph interpreted dreams, he was not merely relying on human wisdom but was guided by divine insight. Similarly, when we immerse ourselves in Scripture, we learn to discern God’s truth and apply it to our lives. This process of surrendering to His Word cultivates true wisdom, enabling us to navigate our own “famine” moments—times of spiritual drought or uncertainty.
In summary, Psalm 105:20-22 emphasizes Joseph's journey as a reflection of our own Salvation experience. Through his trials, he was shaped into a vessel of wisdom and leadership. As we embrace our Salvation and commit to understanding the Word of God, we too can be transformed, equipped to fulfill our divine purpose with the wisdom that comes from surrendering to His truth. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20
10-12-2024 Psalm 105 V-2022
**We are Released by The King**
In the depths of darkness, a dreamer stood,
Joseph, a son, lost in brotherhood.
From the pit of despair, to the throne’s embrace,
God’s hand was upon him, a guiding grace.
Sold into silence, betrayed by his kin,
Yet the Lord had a plan; His love would not thin.
In Pharaoh’s great court, through trials he soared,
A vessel of wisdom, by the Spirit restored.
“Come, interpret these dreams,” the ruler implored,
With faith in his heart, he sought not reward.
He spoke of the famine, the years yet to come,
A savior emerging from shadows, not numb.
In every harsh season, through struggle and strife,
Joseph learned patience, the lessons of life.
From the dungeon to power, his journey unfurled,
A testament shining, God’s truth in the world.
O King of all Kings, like Joseph we stand,
In our own trials, guided by Your hand.
Through surrender to wisdom, we seek to be free,
In the light of Your Word, our souls find the key.
So let us remember, in valleys we tread,
The path that You’ve chosen, the words that You’ve said.
For in every hardship, Your purpose is clear,
With faith like Joseph’s, we’ll conquer our fear. Amen.
