The Book of Sirach Ch 51 v- 9 thru 12
9 So I raised my voice from the grave; from the gates of Sheol I cried for help. 10 I called out: LORD, you are my Father, my champion, my Savior! Do not abandon me in time of trouble, in the midst of storms and dangers. 11 I will always praise your name and remember you in prayer! Then the LORD heard my voice, and listened to my appeal. 12 He saved me from every evil and preserved me in time of trouble. For this reason I thank and praise him; I bless the name of the LORD.
There was a time when the weight of my suffering felt insurmountable, a relentless burden that seeped into every corner of my existence. The trauma of rape shattered my sense of self, leaving me drowning in a sea of shame and confusion. The vile acts committed against me rendered my reality distorted, making me question the very essence of who I was and what survival truly meant. It was as though I was saturated in a darkness so profound that it threatened to consume me entirely. Lost and broken, I stood at the precipice of despair, teetering on the edge of the abyss with Hell's gate yawning wide before me, death whispering its cold call.
The rope tied tightly around my neck and attached to a railing as I stood atop a loft looking down into evil’s grip. I stepped off saying goodbye not knowing I would cheat death by the Will of God. The sound was horrendous as the railing gave way snapping in half and I came crashing down as the rope yanked my very head out of my being. I lay there in tears sobbing that God had others plans as my neck ached and the rope burn sizzled my skin.
In that moment of utter desolation, I raised my voice from the depths of my anguish, crying out to God with every fiber of my being. "You are my Father, my Champion, my Savior," I pleaded, my words soaked in desperation and hope. It was a cry from the grave, a soul in torment reaching out for divine intervention. And in His infinite mercy, God heard me. He listened to my prayers, my cries for deliverance, and in His boundless compassion, He reached out and saved me from every evil that sought to destroy me.
The darkness that once enveloped me began to recede, and in its place, a radiant light of God's love and grace took hold. It was through His divine intervention that I found the strength to rise from the ashes of my suffering. This profound experience of Salvation and redemption is why I praise His Name with unwavering devotion. I thank Him by blessing the Name of the Lord, the living God, each and every day since, for it is through His Son, Jesus Christ, that I have been given a new lease on life.
My heart overflows with gratitude, and I am forever in awe of the boundless grace and mercy that saved me from the clutches of evil. Today, I stand as a testament to His enduring love, and I will continue to honor and glorify Him for the miraculous deliverance He bestowed upon me. I continue my prayers for a family of silence lost in selfishness unwilling to forgive as I relentlessly pray for their conversion often during each waking moment. When have you called out to God and He listened? We all have a story to find goodwill and forgiveness; Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. Amen.
Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.
At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Ephesians 6:17-20
05-31-2024 Sirach 51 v-0912
**Hell or Highwater Praise God**
In shadows deep, where death's cold fingers cling,
I stood at Hell's own gate, my voice a trembling ring.
Dark whispers called, despair's cruel siren song,
Yet from my heart, a plea to God burst strong.
"You are my Father," through the gloom I cried,
"My Champion, my Savior," with faith undenied.
In that abyss, where hope seemed lost and frail,
God heard my prayer, His mercy did prevail.
From every evil, His hand did deliver,
In darkest night, His light did make me shiver.
He saved my soul from death's relentless claim,
And now with grateful heart, I praise His Holy Name.
I bless the Lord, my voice a hymn of grace,
For in my darkest hour, I saw His amazing face.
Eternal thanks I offer, pure and true,
For God, my Savior, made all things anew. Amen.
