The Letter to the Hebrews Chapter 12 V- 25 and 29

25 See that you do not reject the one who speaks. For if they did not escape when they refused the one who warned them on earth, how much more in our case if we turn away from the one who warns from heaven. 26 His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, “I will once more shake not only earth but heaven.” 27 That phrase, “once more,” points to [the] removal of shaken, created things, so that what is unshaken may remain.28 Therefore, we who are receiving the unshakable kingdom should have gratitude, with which we should offer worship pleasing to God in reverence and awe. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Hebrews 12:25-29 serves as an emotional reminder of the unshakeable nature of God’s Kingdom. The passage urges us to listen carefully and not to reject the voice of God, who speaks to us from heaven. The author draws a powerful contrast between the shaking of the earthly realm, which is temporary and subject to change, and the eternal nature of God's Kingdom, which remains steadfast and unmovable.

In verse 26, we see that God promises once more to shake not only the earth but also the heavens. This shaking serves as a divine purging, revealing what is transient and what is eternal. The things that can be shaken will fall away, but the Kingdom that cannot be shaken will remain. As believers, this is a profound source of hope and assurance. Our existence in Him is rooted in a Kingdom that transcends the temporal struggles and uncertainties of this world.

Moreover, the call to “receive a Kingdom that cannot be shaken” invites us to live out our salvation with purpose and intention here on earth. We are not merely waiting for eternal life; we are to embody it now. By living out our faith with love, grace, and conviction, we reflect the unshakeable nature of God's promises.

In response to this divine assurance, we are encouraged to worship God with reverence and awe. As we navigate the challenges of life, let us remember that our foundation is secure in Christ. The Kingdom we have received is eternal, offering us life abundant now and forevermore. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for our niece Brittany. The Soul of my sister-in-law Carmen. Death Uncle Donald. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

**God is A Consuming Fire**

In whispers soft, the heavens call,

“Take heed, my child, lest you should fall;

For voices shake the earth and skies,

Yet in My Kingdom, no fear lies.

The mountains tremble, the seas may roar,

But I am here, your steadfast shore;

What once was shaken, now must yield,

To grace and truth, the heart’s great shield.

The things of earth will fade away,

But in My love, you’ll find your stay;

Embrace the promise, pure and bright,

Eternal life, your guiding light.

With reverent hearts, let us draw near,

In worship deep, dispelling fear;

For we are heirs of realms divine,

In Christ, our hope, our lives align.

So stand in awe, rejoice and sing,

For we have received this wondrous thing;

An unshakeable Kingdom, forever we claim,

In Him we rise, and praise His Holy name. Amen.
