11-23-2023 Luke 17 V-1519 Returning to give thanks

The Gospel of Luke Ch 19 v- 15 thru 19

15 And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice; 16 and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked Him. He was a Samaritan. 17 Jesus said in reply, “Ten were cleansed, were they not? Where are the other nine?18 Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?” 19 Then (Jesus) said to him, “Stand up and go; your faith has saved you.”

I believe that having faith in God, His Son, and His Spirit plays a significant role in healing. When we put our trust in the divine power, it allows us to tap into a source of strength and hope that can lead to physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. It's incredible how our faith can have such a profound impact on our well-being. I've personally experienced instances where I've prayed fervently and believed in God's healing power, and it has brought about remarkable recoveries. It's a testament to the power of faith. Faith has the ability to transform our perspective, giving us the strength to endure challenging times and believe in the possibility of healing. It's not always an immediate or physical healing either; sometimes, it's a healing of the heart, mind, or soul that takes place. Healing isn't always limited to physical ailments but extends to our emotional and spiritual well-being as well.

The peace and comfort that come from knowing that God is with us during difficult times can be incredibly healing on multiple levels. I think it's crucial to recognize and give thanks for the healing we receive through our faith. Expressing gratitude allows us to acknowledge the power of God's love and the role it played in our healing journey. It helps us remain humble and appreciative of the blessings we receive. Giving gratitude keeps us grounded and helps us maintain a strong connection with God. It's important to remember that our healing is not solely due to our efforts but is ultimately a gift from God. Giving thanks also serves as a way to strengthen our faith and encourage others who may be going through similar challenges. I have learned that sharing our experiences of healing and expressing gratitude can inspire and encourage others who may be struggling. It reminds them that they are not alone and that there is hope for their own healing journey. It's a beautiful way to spread God's love and faith when we try and be a beacon of hope for others by sharing our stories and expressing gratitude. It's a powerful way to witness our faith and inspire others to seek healing through their own relationship with God, His Son and His Spirit. Thanksgiving is a daily prayer I share not a yearly routine I encounter. It is giving God His due. Amen.

Join me as we pray our daily prayer of forgiveness. The Lord’s Prayer.

At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.

I am sorry Lord. I believe You died and rose for me. Please forgive me as I forgive others. I share You as my Lord and Savior seeking to live your Will in all things. Prayers for wife Toni and my mother Betty pray for our children especially our two oldest Alexandra & Allen Son in Law Mark Stern; Julian, Gabriel and Jeffrey and our grandchildren Oliver, Julian and Elliott. We pray for those we’ve said we’d pray for and those who’ve asked us to pray for them. We pray for the dying as we do each day Lord give them peace in their last breath. We pray for Holy Mother Church. Our prayers for a little boy named David Alexander. Praise God thank You Jesus. In Jesus Precious Blood by His Name we pray. Amen.

Returning to give thanks for being healed

Voice loud God glorifying appeal

Jesus’ feet the Samaritan fell and loudly revealed

Jesus thanked as loudly as he could squeal

Replying Jesus you saved by faith as your zeal
